I want to have children someday because I would be a great mother and so would my partner. You said that you feel like we live in a messed up world. Well I agree, it'd be difficult for a child to have to go through the harrassment that we face. Yet, how better to correct this screwed up world than raise children who are not offended or scared of gay people? It's all in how you look at it. The world we live in isn't going to cause me to deny myself or my girlfriend the joy of parenthood.

I am torn there. I want kids, but my partner, due to sexual abuses in her child hood, can't handle the prospect. I also realize that I am not emotionally in the space to have children. I do work with them, whenever I can, and I try to be a positive role model for any child. I love my niece and nephew and try to be there for them, too.
The only thing I can say is this. Be sure you want to have children before you do. Be sure you can give them a loving, stable, secure environment. Raise them in love, so that love will grow.....for everything and everyone.

I'm a lesbian and I definitely do want kids, but when the time is right. it will be after I settle down, fing Mrs. Right, get married and have my finances good enough to where I can support kids. Also, I have to able to deal with kids and put them first, becasue these days i only put myself first. That'll come as I mature more. The reason I want kids is to pass on my legacy and I want little parts of me and my future wife.

Those in committed relationships and want kids. Who wouldn't want kids, being a parent is a gift and is among the greatest things you can do with your life (if you do it well, that is).
Since we're on the topic, why don't we ask why heterosexuals want kids? There's an overpopulation problem as it is!

the accepted situation that concerns me with regard to the protection stress's "do not ask, do not tell" coverage is one among protection, that would desire to be national protection. Why? everybody who has ever held a protection clearance (protection stress or civilian issued) can be certain that the main considerable objective of protection paperwork, history exams and interviews is to be certain risk components (family residing in 'opposed international locations', financial matters, 'secrets and methods', etc.) that would want for use to compromise (blackmail) the guy in seek of the clearance. Granted, for a protection stress-issued clearance, they are able to't ask approximately sexual orientation, yet they do ask if there is ANY expertise which you own approximately your self or somebody else that would desire to be compromising. that query forces the LIE for a gay protection stress member, to boot as everybody who's time-honored with of a gay protection stress member. That LIE then CREATES a protection compromise and hence a protection risk. If "do not ask, do not tell" became eradicated, then sexual orientation might desire to not be used as leverage to compromise an brazenly gay protection stress member, or friends of brazenly gay protection stress individuals. hence, 'do not ask, do not tell" is undesirable for cover.

I have three kids, I will soon be a grandfather. I wanted kids because I really wanted to be a mother. I wanted kids because Adolf Hitler wiped out 32 family members and I wanted lots of little people like me who could show sicko Nazi types that we survived. So kiss my keester Hitler.
