First: Because we celebrate Christ birthday (we have a little party for Jesus)
Second: Because of the look on my kids face on christmas morning. You only get that special star gazed look on Christmas morning.

Christmas is special to me because its a time of sharing with friends and family. A time to remember what Christmas really means...it means the birth of Christ. Its a time of joyful celebration and spiritual reflection. Christmas is also special because I do different things each year with different people. With one friend, we go up to Christmas Lane and walk through all the houses that are lit up and then go back to her house for hot chocolate and dessert, and then we open our gifts that we gave to each other. Or what really makes Christmas special is going to Disneyland and seeing the whole park decorated and it just makes your heart feel good. Mostly though its about getting together with family and thats the most special of all !!!!!!!!!

I'm not a religious person but I still love Christmas because it's so fun, people are nicer and happier. I love buying presents for the people I love, I love decorating the house, putting up lights and a Christmas tree and decorating it with my friends and family. I also love Christmas songs. I go out at night to see all the lit up and decorated houses. I love to say 'merry Christmas' to random people I don't even know in malls or stores.

what i like about Christmas. when i was a kid it was all about the mystery of it all. the secrets of what to make and how to get the money to make it. family and Friends. we cut our own tree each year and we made ordainment for what we found or had. like pine cones and egg shells and cotton balls etc. it was the smells of pies and cookies and Candie and songs the happiness in the air hay rides and hot coco after. then there was the 24/7 wondering what you would get for Christmas day. then Christmas day comes and there are apple spice pancakes, sausage, fried potatoes, eggs and home made jam, the smell of coffee and breakfast and the pine smell of the tree you help cut down and decorate with ordainment you make yourself. then the gifts are given out and you breath in the excitement of it all before you tore open you gift and even if it wasn't what you wanted it is the best gift you ever got because it is yours. and everyone opening the gifts you make and saying thank you and how great they are and how they wanted it so much and how wonderful it make you fell.
JOY, WONDERMENT, SMELLS, TASTES, WARM HUGS AND SNOW.
i would love to have one more Christmas like that. oh don't for get the windows in the stores. what joy that all was.

to me christmas is a wonderful time...you spend time with family and friends...spend hours in the kitchen baking...putting up the christmas tree is so exciting...you get to look through the ornaments and remember things from christmas in the past...all the childrens books and christmas movies are great....it is great to see the look on childrens faces when santa comes...getting into the crazy holiday shopping is sooo exciting...even though it can be overwhelming...the lights, the snow, the music....everything about it is just great

Christmas' when I was growing up were a unhappy time. My dad would get drunk and start a fight with my Mom and I never looked forward to any of it
When I had kids of my own I vowed that their holidays would always be special and they are.

I enjoy giving. I enjoy being in the Christmas choir at church. I like decorating. I just love all the Christmas cheer!
