I m a muslim and m shocked by the postings made by ppl against not only Islam,but also christianity, judaism and even atheism. I believe this is immoral as it tries to devalue the particular person's faith.
I believe in peace. I think in the afterlife, everyone good in their deeds shall be allowed entry to man's destiny - heaven. Well I include all believers of God along with atheists. Peace be upon u all nice ppl! God is kind and let his mercy allow all good in their deeds to be blessed.
Till then let us all leave in harmony with our fellow human on this beautful earth. Brothers and sisters, let us all agree on this honest proposal, doesnt matter what u r or what u want 2 be.
I m a devoted muslim and to some who might think i dont know about my reigion, i say i have studied it and verified. I have alsi studied about other religions(especially Judaism and Christianity) and learnt to respect them as believers in the same God but with different perspective.Thank u and god bless u all!

ANAL BLEACHING?!!! WTF? Why would anyone really care if someones anus is a couple of shades darker than the rest of their body? Most of the time( in normal circumstances) no one is looking that close at someone's anus. It is really disgusting that this is something that people will actually spend hundreds of dollars to get done. What is your opinion on this?

so as i should have said before i have a friend from spain. i met him and his brother in spain. but he was living and studying for a year in mexico...and i guess they use alot of slang there so i can't really understand his spanish sometimes. i was talking to him...and i showed him some pics from spain [where i met him] and this is what he said...i cant make out a word of it...so if anyone could just give me the jist of what he said in this email:
"ah eres muy bonita. no enserio eres muy bonita el feo soy yo. gracias pero tu tambien eres muy bonita. jajaj a perdon he no creas que te estoy echando los perros me matan si lo ago. si osea que no vayas a creer que quiero contigo otra cosa."
I cannot tell if he was being nice or not? :\ haha...i just want to know!

I was wondering if someone could tell me how science and religion don't conflict. I don't know enough about religion or science to answer the question. Didn't Einstein or some sciencetist make some quote like religion without science is blind (or something) and science without religion is blind (or something) ?

Why can we drink alcohol & smoke cigarettes for recreational purposes but Rastafarians cannot smoke marijuana for legitimate religious purposes? They don't sanction the abuse of marijuana as we don’t sanction the abuse of alcohol or cigarettes, so wouldn't laws and regulations be a little more fair? After all young children are given wine during communion and that’s obviously underage drinking but for religious purposes it is ok. It is kept within reason, as would the smoking of marijuana. Why are we keeping them from expressing their religious rights?
Just because they're not the most mainstream religion doesn't mean we should ignore their rights. Also their rights should be extended to them where ever they are. If christians can preach and worship in Africa why can't rastafarians practice their faith here as well as anywhere? I think we should show respect to every being and their religious beliefs.

Please do not judge one another..

Doing a vaguely related follow-up question to one I answered (which person in history died the youngest but had the most impact on history- I answered Alexander the Great and Jesus was probably the other best/most interesting response I saw to the question) which inspired this question. Just thought this was kind of an interesting point to discuss/debate and if anybody had any thoughts, ideas, and/or sources of information on this. And yes, I think those that kill in the name of either of the two religions mentioned above have hi-jacked/misread/misrepresented/misunderstood the tenets of both faiths for political purposes.

Here is the catch: why do and what do people like about "friend networking sites" like friendster, myspace, etc; to the point that they will spend an entire session just browsing those sites- looking at pictures, uploading, accepting invites from complete strangers and even giving testimonials to complete strangers and other related things?
I have seen people in an internet cafe browsing these sites and after five or six hours, they are still there- still browsing those said sites. this is also a predominant problem in the college computer laboratory where i am, forcing us to block those said sites- and forcing those blocked to seek other ways- usually via proxy sites.
I expect clear answers- not the ones that you can come up so easily like 'because you can meet other people' and 'its fun'.
It's becoming a social 'problem' - instead of the norm greetings and question, often the first question is 'do you have friendster'.

because, my friend and i were playing the ouija board and everything was okay at first and then the spirit kept spelling his name, 'Noah' over and over again, we dont know anyone of this name either and when we didnt ask a question he'd go straight to the N, is this spirit evil and is he still with us? We said goodbye but my friends dog is acting weird and barking and growling at absolutely nothing, and dogs can see ghosts. I know that neither my friend or i were pushing the planchette..so please what is your opinion on this?

I have found out that in the Koran there is bold-faced evidence that says for muslims to kill all infidels. Koran 2:39: "Those who reject faith and belie our signs, They shall be Companions of the Fire and abide in it." Koran 5:33: "The Punishment for those who oppose Allah and his messenger is: Execution or Crucifixion or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides or exile from the land." the list goes on and on there was even a book wriiten by Craig winn called Prophet of Doom which talks about the Islam religion and evidence that the koran says to kill all infidels (i looked on his website--haven't read the whole book yet)
SO GOOD MUSLIMS: y arent u killing infidels, i mean, according to the koran u should be???? i mean, when i go into a middle eastern restaurant i dont get killed (however, maybe they r calidians (not sure on spelling) or that since its here in America, they know killing is illegal and that they just arent following the koran fully) EXPLAIN to ME
