Plz help! I always shake alot [practically my whole body], I'm shy easily intimidated by others and deep inside I know this isn't really me because 1. I wasn't raised like that and 2. I really could care less what others think of me. I hate being called up to the front of the class when the teacher wants us to do something [like write on the board] cuz I'm so nervous and shaky and everyone notices [at least I think they do] and it's so embarrasing to me and annoying. I know this is miscatigorized, but I feel that I need help spirutally to get rid of this problem. What can I do?

am so tired of people perpetuating negative stereotypes of the ghetto... Why do we pretend like we like living in the "hood"... I said this to some friends over the weekend and they argued with me. Can you believe that? They fought with me because I said I hate the ghetto and that when God gets me out of here... I'll go to church every Sunday just for that blessing alone! :)...They get offended because I know how to talk to people... They say I think I'm "white" cause I've broaden myself to other things. We cant keep holding each other down... I know I'm black! I wash my black behind everyday and look at my round black face in the mirror in the morning. Im American! You cant raise your kids here with them getting offered crack on the way to school or being shot because you bought them some Jordan's...Does anyone else feel the same way...I would never turn my back on the life that made me who I am but I dont go around screaming at the top of my lungs that I'm from the Hood! I have always lived with the belief in God. I grew up in a Baptist household although I rarely attended church after age 10.This has always been a no brainer for me up until 4 1/2 yrs ago. That was when I lost my Mother to cancer. It has turned me inside out. It has made me question things I never thought I would question. Why would a loving God have her suffer the way she did? I know that all prayers aren't answered, but I felt like mine were ignored. I want to believe again, but I just can't seem too. Anyone out there who could offer constructive advice would be appreciated. Just for extra background, I am now 29, my Mother died when she was 52.

The Japanese girls in my area are like the Asian version of real-life Barbies! Skinny, brownish hair, heavy makeup, with clothes that are kind of ticky tacky. They all look the same.

I wonder if trying to explain the unknown will ever disappear. Science advancements would disappear most likely.
Without the metaphysics and ideas and dreams, there wouldn't be much of science.
But then again, without the atheists, we wouldn't have much of science either, we would still be healing each other but not have the technological comforts and gadgetry?
Are we really all on the same side? But refuse to acknowledge it. Is our pride in the way.

Here's a good question. Can an atheist say "I know your into god and imagination, could you help me solve this problem?
Could a spiritual person say to an atheist " I know your into logic and the physical " Can you help me solve this problem?

Should we understand our roles?

Do you ever feel like your actually talking to people that matter.....
