I wonder if trying to explain the unknown will ever disappear. Science advancements would disappear most likely.
Without the metaphysics and ideas and dreams, there wouldn't be much of science.
But then again, without the atheists, we wouldn't have much of science either, we would still be healing each other but not have the technological comforts and gadgetry?
Are we really all on the same side? But refuse to acknowledge it. Is our pride in the way.

Here's a good question. Can an atheist say "I know your into god and imagination, could you help me solve this problem?
Could a spiritual person say to an atheist " I know your into logic and the physical " Can you help me solve this problem?

Should we understand our roles?

understand.....Does this site really matter
Do you ever feel like your actually talking to people that matter.....
Is this site mainly for venting......It matters to me I guess, I'm not trying to "save" anyone but probably trying to understand myself.

I have gone to Atheists before and asked them to help me solve a problem, just as Atheists have come to me for explanations of a dream that didn't seem to be relevant at all to anything going on recently with them...

... we can only communicate if we allow ourselves to.

This is such a faulty way of approaching the issues. First of all modern science had at it's root Christianity. Due to the Reformation there was a major movement towards education, to raise up individuals who could think for themselves, and explore the world around them. All of our most prestigious universities started as theological schools, Harvard, Yale, Princeton etc.. Plus Christianity lead to science through the idea that God has made an objective world outside of himself that could be explored. The atheist/naturalist scientist is a fairly recent development.
Secondly it's inaccurate to say that atheists have no imagination (quantum physics for example, the flying spaghetti monster mythos), nor that a person of faith has no logic(the philosophy dept. of every Christian university) or understanding of the physical world(Virtually every scientist preceding the last century, and quite a few during).
The idea that we have roles that keep us separate is not true. The purpose of this site varies depending on what you are trying to do, and who you interact with.

BQ: it is like asking if taking area in pooping makes you gay. BQ2: Pepper sprayed myself interior the face on twist of destiny.

The dictionary will disappear first.
Wherever there's people there will be religion.
