The quote comes from WNAD (and no, I'm not trying to single him out, I want to understand the statement more clearly).

Do Christians get so caught up in "worshipping Jesus" that they ignore the second part of Jesus command: to love others as we wish to be loved? Is it all about telling people about Jesus while ignoring the circumstances within which some people live? Is that as far as the "love" goes for some Christians?

I have seen xtians spouting things not in the bible, but claiming it to be scripture. I have seen purported atheists spewing false scientific facts. I have seen many here state that Pagans and Wiccans in particular worship the devil when it is not so. I have read question after question that uses religion to be racist. Many individuals are completely ignorant of the fact that our nation was NOT founded upon xtianity. Clueless as to the fact that there are literally thousands of religions in the world. There are even more interpretations of those religions. There are many, many "holy" texts other than the bible and the quaran. Racism, bigotry and assumption runs rampant here. Fear of difference is out of control. Hatred leads the way. Laziness of the mind seems to be the norm.

Why do ppl not educate themselves before coming here and spreading falsehoods and poison to an already fractured society?

What does that tell about the social culture and psychology of the English and people of the English speaking countries?

Is "I" more important than you, than he, than she, than they, than we?

Is "I" the subject and higher above than every other "object?"

In my commuinty the local paper ran an article on a church who hired a known sex offender to work as a janitor . Isn't this taking forgiveness to a new extreme!?! Do you think people like this can ever really change?
This has been a HUGE deal in my commuinity ( as I believe it should be!) and many have left the church due to this choice to hire on a pedophile.
