I am curious on the order of this, death is forsure but I was never sure of if we wait in the grave for jesus' coming or go to heaven to be judged. I may seem weird but I could never find a solid answer on this. I know I should read the bible more but my pasture tells me one thing and I read another and now confussed.

Something I have been dwelling on.
To come here to just expereience and adventure seems legit.
But coming here to learn how to create, understanding the creation and act, and the potential levels of creative acts is a whole different type of existence.
Why would one decide to sacrifice experience for knowledge(seems confusing but in a sense is true)
Does one learn the mysterious to access a new existence for a realization of being a creator and observer?
How can 2(more I'm sure) separate realities inhabit the same environment and still have harmony? Why were the deep thinkers smarter before the terror idea sold to the public?

When someone asks a question on here relating to the bible I see responses on here from atheists that say simple things like "yeah if it existed" or "If it were not bullocks". I am just curious what is the point in that? It is fine that you have your own beliefs but if you are unable to give a valid argument or say something constructive you start to make your view points look unfounded and void of anything intellectual. Do you not realize this? Just saying someone elses views are wrong over and over is a waste of time.

I told my mom I was gay and she told me that I should go off to college next year and "find myself". She dosen't want me to tell anyone I am gay. I am a freshman now and i live on campus. I was never really close with her and we never talk. I have a twin sister at my college and she says not to tell anyone because they might tease my sister. (stupid) I wanted to do something like FBI or marine biologist. I want to do something fun that pays well though. I want to show my mom that I can make it without her.I don't know where I want to move or what I want to do anymore. I just want to get as far away from Tennessee as possible. Can someone help me? What should I do for a living and where should I go? What college would you suggest for a nice major? What jobs pay well and where can I find a girlfriend and live in a gayfriendly environment? I don't know. I just need help finding out what I will do when the school year is up. Thanks.

I mean would society stand back and ignore other forms of child abuse? Why can religions get away with this behavior?

PS: I am having to re-ask this question as it was reported, why? it's not rude is it? did I strike a nerve?

Both him and I are high school sophomores and I've know him for a couple of years, he never acts gay or does anything gay, but once I went swimming too his house and both of us went skinny dipping. I didnt really think anything of it until he jumped on me and we were both naked, he rode me around for a while and i didnt really mind. After that we both took a shower and thats it. he has a girlfriend who he always smooches and hug really tightly.

Reflecting on the sky at night, he wrote "One would have to be blind not to be dazzled by the sight; one would have to be stupid not to recognize its author; one would have to be mad not to worship him."

And does it seem odd that a man who was such a vigorous opponent of traditional Christianity would try to make such a case for God?

I know I've done it again but I've never been able to figure it out.I'm not opposed to helping those that can't help themselves , but I know a few people that have lost everything and yes even loved ones and the gov. isn't setting them up homes or trailers. And I guess while I'm in hot water already I can't understand why people would set around for a week knowing this storm was coming and not leave. Many that were at the super dome instead of leaving had a hurricane party then told everyone how misstreated they were because no one would come and pick them up.Sorry if the truth hurts , but many that were lost might have been saved if it had not been for the foolish that had to be rescued.

What can be accomplished by a few principles is not effected by many. But it seems that everything we see in the world can be accounted for by other principles, supposing God did not exist. For all natural things can be reduced to one principle, which is nature, and all voluntary things can be reduced to one principle, which is human reason, or will. Therefore there is no need to suppose God's existence. - Saint Thomas Aquinas

What is it about Islam that makes it's sheep so much moral then Christianity's sheep (not counting the terrorist who are criminals misusing Religion for personal gain like Bin Laden, Pat Robertson, and Benny Hinn)?

Of course it was Benny Hinn on TBN that said that sheep follow shepherds, because if shepherds followed sheep they would get pooo on their shoes.
