I know I've done it again but I've never been able to figure it out.I'm not opposed to helping those that can't help themselves , but I know a few people that have lost everything and yes even loved ones and the gov. isn't setting them up homes or trailers. And I guess while I'm in hot water already I can't understand why people would set around for a week knowing this storm was coming and not leave. Many that were at the super dome instead of leaving had a hurricane party then told everyone how misstreated they were because no one would come and pick them up.Sorry if the truth hurts , but many that were lost might have been saved if it had not been for the foolish that had to be rescued.

The fact is that too many people think the Federal Government owes them everything. And Bush-bashing is very popular. Bush must have caused the huricane in the first place. People that live on coasts know their risks but take their chances anyway. Usually their property values reflect their location in their favor. The risks go with that too but they are not mature enough to take responsibility for their choices. So many people were hurt by Katrina but so many others were exposed as idiots.

People have been spoiled by the government and cannot think or act on their own. They are so used to being waited on hand and foot that unless someone comes and puts the food in their mouth, they will starve. Regardless of color people have become useless. Why do we need thunderstorm warnings ? Whole towns panick and run to the stores if we are going to have a little rain or snow and if the storm is bad then they sit around saying when is help coming. I feel that people who do not want to evacuate when told should be left to survive or die on their own.

we established a year ago they are a bunch of idiots.since then the gov't has joined that list for all the (my)money they are spending to build a city back in a hole.
since so many people are not coming back maybe the next time it gets flooded we won't have to pay so much.
i on't know what is going to be done with all the refuse but i'd think it would make great fill to put in place of where NO once was.
oh,gosh wishful thinking.

Didn't you hear? George Bush caused Katrina to profit from his secret ownership in the evil bottled water cartel.
