whichever one would let you live in it...

I've lived all around the Country, and I was a truck-driver for a few years, so I've seen it all. To me, one state wins hands down.

That State of Misery would be none other than Texas.

"Don't mess with Texas," they all say.

Don't worry. After living there for two long years, I won't.

The most memorable thing to me was scrawled on the bathroom stall at the airport. (I wanted out so bad I abandoned my nice new car.) There on the wall were the words: "Houston's a nice place to be from. The farther the better.")

My sentiments exactly.

Two years of a bunch of arrogant inbred idiots calling me a "yankee" twice in every sentence, when half of them are really from Ohio or New Jersey, prejudice, violence, crime, you name it, if it "ain't" good they got it. Like they say, everything's bigger in Texas.

I survived the 610 Loop, racists attacking me and my Hispanic girlfriend on an almost daily basis, three muggings, and two hold-ups, the second of which only missed killing me because what was supposed to have been my head being shot off turned out to be a misfire. I lived through all that just fine. But one thing was so bad, so terrible, so purely evil that it left me to abandon my house, my job, all my possessions, and even my nice new car.

That thing was the new governor, George Bush. Boy, was I ever glad to leave that @sshole behind...

Massachusetts, because people do not know how to drive. People drive slow in the fast line, drive in the breakdown line, cut people off all the time. In addition their tax rate is super high.
