What is it about Islam that makes it's sheep so much moral then Christianity's sheep (not counting the terrorist who are criminals misusing Religion for personal gain like Bin Laden, Pat Robertson, and Benny Hinn)?

Of course it was Benny Hinn on TBN that said that sheep follow shepherds, because if shepherds followed sheep they would get pooo on their shoes.

With Islam they don't seem to let their hair down and cut loose. Somber behavior is just a way of life.

With Christianity, it is a free-fore all. With the grace message people feel like they can do what they want to and go buck wild...Over time they get a little more free and before they know it, some end up in rehab, prison, or the psych ward.

To put it simply, they have a unifying cause. There are fewer things that are used to discern different people from each other. They also have stricter laws, which is why the changes in certain countries have led to a relaxing attitude towards the relevant penalties. Which is only fodder for those that want to keep things the same way and fight change that is for the better.
Of course, to make the challenge that Jesus made, he who is without sin cast the first stone, would lead to the same result as in the Bible, or it should, in either society. And then you have to consider who are the criminals. Is it the Christians or the non-christians. Is it someone else.

The answer to this is simple. There are lower levels of domestic criminality in Islamic controlled countries because in areas where Sharia Law is enforced, the consequences for a crime are so harsh and brutal that the risks of committing the crime are not worth it. Many people would steal if the only potential consequences were some time in prison with chances of early parole. Almost no one would steal if the consequences for theft were the amputation of the member of the body that was instrumental in that theft.

However, the big problem with Islamic justice as it is practiced in Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, or Iran is that the innocent are presumed guilty and must prove their innocence, while in countries influenced by Christianity, the opposite is true. It is interesting how this underscores the cynical nature of Islam in relation to the enlightened view of humans held by Christianity. Secondly, there is no way to redress miscarriages of justice, where punishment is exacted on someone who was falsely convicted of a crime. If a man’s hand is severed for the accusation of theft, that man will never get his hand back, if it is proven later on that he was innocent of the charges. At least in Christian countries, when you take away a man’s freedom for larceny, you can restore his freedom.

In many ways the rampant injustices of the Sharia system, make the level of crime in western Christian nations preferable. The harshness of Islamic punitive system in many ways is more criminal than the crimes it seeks to deter. Justice, at its best and most virtuous, is ultimately redemptive. It gives the transgressor time and tools to redeem himself. Sharia law is not redemptive, but vengeful. It does not ensure a culture of freedom in as much as it enshrouds the people it is supposed to preserve in a cloud of fear.

Cause the leftists want to give criminals a light slap on the wrist since even criminals have the right to cable, internet, free room and board. Islam will actually punish people for breaking the law...liberals won't. Criminals have too many rights...bleh.

you know what!! i just hate it when people spew shiit they know nothing about!! look at the answers you got!! every one is making assumptions and their ignorance make me wanna puke honestly!!
if you dont know simply dont freaking answer. no need to for acting like you know every thing!!!!
ok back to your question, well first let me start by saying that NOT the 50+ muslim country live by the Sharia Law. even Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan dont follow sharia Law in all matters, each country has it's own constitution and some are more influenced by Sharia more than others.
lets take the middle east for example ok, the majority of the Mideast countries dont use Sharia law for particularly those things people here are SO OBSESSED with like stoning and cutting the hands or any of that.
murderers go on trials and depends on the constitution some countries who have the death penalty usually hang for murder OR 25 years in prison depends on the situation of course.
adultery is punishable by imprisonment in MOST Muslim countries and NOT stoning. (MOST COUNTRIES BUT NOT ALL SOME LIKE SAUDI ARABIA AND IRAN, SUDAN MIGHT BE USING THIS LAW )

stealing is also punishable by imprisonment and not for too long either!!!
depends on what was stolen.
OF COURSE there's crimes in the middle east BUT like you said not as many as here.
gangs are Nothing like here.
rape crimes are nothing like here.
kidnapping children and sexually abusing them is nothing like here.
there are many reason for this but one and for most is that many people are spiritually conscious and would not commit crimes!!!
hope this helps!!
if you research the subject you'll know a lot more on why it is that way!!!
peace.

The penalties are much stiffer in countries that base their laws on Islam. Capital punishment has a higher rate in those countries. It is not as much the crime as the punishment. Who wants to loose their hand over a crime we would consider petty in the US?

If you lived in a place where if you stole, even to feed your own family, they cut off your hand... would you be tempted to steal? Also, how many of those crimes do you think are reported, considering many of those Islamic countries are still considered 3rd world countries... or "developing" countries if they have just gave in to "Democracy"? It's a totally different world they live in compared to what we live in.

They have a very strong family ethic and very strict rules for living. Also there are severe punishment and social ostracization for going beyond the rules. America is so full of so many cultures that people lose sight of their familial values due to the convergence of cultures. Morality is much more convoluted and blurred in Western society.

well , check out the number of crimes that are reported then you would know

for example to prove that a woman has been raped according to sharia law called hadud she has to prove that four men saw the act. in a country where 14 out of 15 rapes are never make it past the first stage it is obvious to have low crime rates.

Pardon my present ignorance on the matter; but where did the asker get the information on the assertion regarding crime rates?
