Yes, I do. People judge us by how we live our lives. Christians who are critical and judgmental turn people off. They aren't setting a good Christian example.
God wants us to share His love with everyone. Whatever we do to the least among us we do to Him. And oftentimes we should be ashamed of how we treat our sisters and brothers in Christ. Let us lift up the Light of His Love for all to see! Let us share our many blessings with all in need! God bless you for asking an important and thought provoking question!

The true meaning of Christianity: To accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, then to love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength, THEN to love others as you love yourself.
Edited to add:
Who reaches heaven is my concern, because I don't want the ones that I love to have to be stuck with the only alternative. As far as defining sin goes, you could be right...too much time is spent debating. Sin is clearly defined in the Bible and there should therefore be no debate.

Since the beginning of Christianity (and Judaism), people have been more interested in the details than true renovation of their hearts. It is much, much easier to follow a set of rules or laws than have to be a morally upright person, seeking after God as one needs the air to live. It is also a way to alleviate guilt for one's own sins to be able to look at others and say "well, at least I don't do THAT".

You are correct in your observation. According to the Bible, The Law has been fulfilled- therefore, Man should love one another and encourage each other to righteousness.
Unfortunately, as you may already be aware, asking someone to do something and being sure they will do it is two different things.
Job reminds us: "Man is born unto trouble, as surely as sparks fly upwards."
Is there a way around this? Not really. Carry yourself as well as your conscience admits and love others as much as you can. No judgement. It is not our place.
Cheers!

I think too many Christian's are getting caught up in debate of little insignificant details. I was told the bible is full of big truths and little truths. Big truth God loves us sent Jesus to forgive us, and wants us to show his and Jesus' love in the world. Little truth was Jesus married, what color was Jesus, etc. etc. another example is Big truth God created the universe. Little truths god created it in seven day, exactly the way the bible said it was. I think some of us spend too much time debating the little truths

I really don't think that being friends with everyone, is the meaning of Christianity. Why else would it be called CHRISTianity, if it's sole purpose wasn't to worship Jesus?
I think you are confusing Christianity with the Hippie movement.

Yeah. Christians are to love others, not dispense judgment. That is God's job.

You are absolutely right. Some get so caught up in judging others, they do forget to first love one another. That's what we are here for.

Too many Christians feel it is ok for them to pass judgement on who will go to heaven or hell. And if I remember correctly, that isn't their judgement.
