You need to realize that those in the pulpit---especially high profile preachers---those really anointed and being used by God are going to have those that oppose them---that take things out of context and conjure up things to bring confusion especially to new believers and non-believers.....

The bible tells us not to bother answering those who want to debate with nonsense questions---those who really don't want the TRUTH only want to debate-----

the BEST thing to do---is continue to witness to your friend....and pray for the HOLY SPIRIT to draw him to HIMSELF!!!!!

If your friend wants to spend his time reading negative smears....let him---but you don't have to respond to any of it---just do the WORD---and continue to witness the TRUTH to him---that's all you are required to do---many people even in the body of Christ disagree and have favorites or non-favorite preachers---that's not going to change---

p.s. as you can see many of your responders don't like him--- they just don't know the truth---many probably are or aren't Christians......

but know this ---that the power of God does operate in healing today and through men of God ---Benny Hinn included --- and GOD also wants HIS people to prosper!!!!
you tell me who is going to follow a man of God who drives a beat-up chevy and shops at the thrift store!!!!

In all the Old testament ---- God proves that HE desires HIS people to stand out----with prosperity and health!!!!!

Ijohn 3:2 "beloved i wish above all that you would prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers."

It takes money to get the gospel proclaimed throughout the world!!!--Jesus said to go into all the nations proclaiming the gospel!!!! and lay hands on the sick and see them healed!!!!

Whoa....what are we doing? practice this sista. in keeping with risk she do basically no longer understand. it particularly is not any stereotype that blacks call one yet another brother and sister, brotha and sista, or brah and sis. it particularly is well-known. (the place have you ever been the final 40 years?) in spite of the shown fact that it has particular value interior the U. S. using fact us "descendants of slaves" (as you placed it) have had our identities stolen from us in the time of the main undesirable holocaust in international historical past and can't hint our historical past and subculture back to a particular united states of america, village, or tribe. So in an attempt to offer us some semblence of team spirit and team spirit the place our ancestors have been held hostage, we've been inspired to undertake one yet another as brothers and sisters. Is that so undesirable? here's a thought sis. does not or no longer it somewhat is constructive if our "cousins" (bear in ideas that D?) from the mummy land might renowned as their prodigal little little ones? I recommend it became your ancestors people who have been abducted, tortured, raped, overwhelmed, and compelled into slave hard artwork to boot. What....you basically gonna leave us hangin'? it somewhat is an previous slavemaster's trick to stress variations, create conflict, then divide and triumph over. yet do no longer challenge sis, we ain't gonna make it easier to fall for that back. we are gonna placed you directly to the sport. That previous ideas-set is what offered us a value tag on the slave deliver in the beginning. Edit: LOL at Cessaria making use of $20 words like supercilious (I had to look that up)!

Benny Hinn is a sociopath who uses religion to make money and feed his ego... just like every other preacher, but he is just a little bit better at it than most.

Hmmm Benny Hinn... definitely not the best representative of Christianity. I watched him a few times years ago.. one show specifically I remember him talking about calling things into being like God does. He said "Jehovah means 'calls into being' and WE have the power to call things into being ourselves... we are all little Jehovahs... call me Benny Jehovah!" I wasnt even Christian at the time and I knew that was just WRONG!

Your friend is smart.

Benny Hinn is sent by the devil to confuse the masses. Stay away from him.

Even Jesus did not heal in groups because it is not possible. Physical healing is done individually on an individual basis between the healer, who is sent by God, and the person being healed.

Benny Hinn is an evil man.

Well, there's nothing you CAN do. He's a scam artist, no doubt. But if you enjoy watching him and you get something out of it, then you should continue doing just that. Of course, it is my personal opinion that you should never send him any money or persuade others to do so. I say that because I'm skeptical of his intentions.

You know, there are lots of powerful people around you. You don't have to subscribe to someone questionable just because they're on the television. Maybe your local church has something you can believe in without having to wonder if you're doing the right thing.

he may be a man of god. and if you can find jesus through his teachings so be it...i would not send him any money.

remember that nowhere in the bible does it say that you must pay any man to gain entrance into heaven.

religion should be free. Hinn seems to have taken caution not to have his org. classified as a not for profit so that he does not have to reveal his finiancial records.

i have found that most televangelicals are fakes looking for money. but if you find that you believe them and you wish to follow them. then the only caution that i would give to you would be againse giveing them money...if they ask for money try making a donation in their name or in the name of their church to a known charitable org. and send them the reciept.....you will find that most of them do not like this practice...and when they tell you to send the money directaly to them...well then you know their motivation

Remember, people aren't perfect. The fact that this man allegedly did some bad things shouldn't shake ones faith in God. The man and God are two separate things. However, I would refrain from listening to a someone (any religious leader) who misled me.

Sheep in Wolves clothing, he has had lawsuits against him, he distorts scripture, stop and think about it, if you had the power to heal would you charge people to come to see you or would you be in the hospitals healing people? Did Christ charge to heal people????
Also do a web search on the Charismatic Movement, you may find some answers in your search.
