The Japanese girls in my area are like the Asian version of real-life Barbies! Skinny, brownish hair, heavy makeup, with clothes that are kind of ticky tacky. They all look the same.
Before you call me a racist, I'd like to tell you that I'm Asian. I'm an ethnicist, maybe, but certainly not a racist.

this phenomenon is called westernization of beauty. girls look like clones, instead of being unique.

I think it depends upon a person's age. When a person is younger, and they move to a new area, they want to 'fit in'...so they adopt the dress, the language, the norms of the area. The older a person gets, the more confident they become in themselves, the more they appreciate the differences, the nuances we all have....and the less apt they are to 'conform'.
Americans who move overseas do it....and foreigners who move to America do it....it is human nature.
btw- I like the distinction between 'ethnicist' and 'racist'. I totally disagree with the "we are all the same" argument. I dread a homogenized world and I revel in our differences. Someday, 10,000 years from now when the people in the world all have the same slightly darker shade of skin, and all speak the same language and live in the same style house and listen to the same kinds of music and eat the same food.....those people will look back and miss and wonder about the different ethnicities and cultures and food and architecture and language and music that we have now. As difficult as things get sometimes...the differences are worth holding onto IMHO.

Don't know.... I just arrived in the US, and yes, they are kind of ugly here :))) We dress much better where I come from. I really don';t want to wear snickers and pants all the time. I love my dresses. I am not Asian, but European, though, and really do not like the casual style here. Probably they just want to fit in?

definitely i think of it truly is basically because of the fact jap ladies have consistently been extra effective looking than American or British ladies, i've got consistently needed as much as now a jap woman because of the fact they are so candy and worrying

why do they have to follow ur opinion of what they should look like? and there is no such thing as americanize because no person looks alike lol. but can i ask u this? why do japanese guys seem to only date japanese girls? lol

Jap girls are cute. But, unfortunately, they get Americanized and turn ugly. Start checking out the Mexican girls. You will like them better.
They are all pokeable.
