What do you do when no matter how hard you try to have faith everything in your life is just going too wrong to even beleive...What do you do when things are in your life are stable and you try to get closer to God and all of a sudden things start going wrong so you tell yourself:
"SCREW IT! I'd rather be faithless than go through any more problems"

Some of us might feel pressured or overwhelmed with things that we know have to be done but are sometimes not wanting to do it. For me, my parents come in my room literally beating an ACT book over my head, then I have to worry if i'm even going to make it to college because of that goddamn test and I have just school, In general, to deal with. I don't know if my parents are trying to scare me into thinking that I have so many things to do or what, but it can become hectic sometimes. I don't know what to do, I try and go to the library to get most of my studies done, but even they have their own agendas to tend to. Give me your imput on this topic and tell me times when you feel you were really overwhelmed.

Do you know what is submission?? Why you distort it's meaning.
God crated women to be submissive. But evil feminist bitches
are misguiding them.
You wives will submit to your husbands as you do to the Lord. For a husband is the head of his wife as Christ is the head of his body, the church; he gave his life to be her Savior. As the church submits to Christ, so you wives must submit to your husbands in everything. (Ephesians 5:22-24 NLT)

You had been impressed with someone's questions and answers on this site and then emailed them comments on that and then found that the two of you had shared certain experiences and that commonality made you feel good, and by getting to know that person a little you got a sense of admiration for them, but then somehow you got the feeling you might be seen as getting too personal and perhaps viewed as a stalker? Would you stop communicating? Should you stop? Would you back off? What do you think is the right thing to do? Please no spam.

Every time someone askes if I believe in god and I say no. They flip out on me. Now I respect those who believe, so why can't they respect my decision not too. I thought that was a freedom! So for you believers I have listened to you preech on about how I should believe, but you haven't told me why I can't have respect for my choice! So now I am finally asking you why can't I be free to choose?

I spent 10 years at a samll company. I recently started a postion a few months ago at a very large company in the same industry but yet i took a contract position with this large company so that I could make the jump for my career. Now because with the name of this large company on updated resume that is out there on job message boards from before, I am getting calls out the woodwork frompeople and they are all ofeering me almost 60 -70% more than what I am currently earning now, which my curent salary is not too shabby either. But the $ is so tempting and the chance to maybe relocate with my wife, we have no kids yet. But should I keep and honor my currentl employer's wiggle room contract or if I know I am hitting my stride right now , should I go for it while I am hot right now or should I wait a year to see if I am still hot right now? In my short time at the current employer, they already have said how impressed they were about my performance, should i go for the brass ring now?

I think it came out in the early 1990s, perhaps a made-for-tv film. It was about a female doctor who had a preteen son. She would treat pregnant mothers and when they went into labor she would steal the baby and tell the mother that the baby had died. She fooled her son into thinking she was pregnant by wearing a cushion. I think he found out when he was 18 or 19, near the end of the film. Also, I remember there was this one shot of a room with a whole bunch of babies in cages stacked on top of each other, perhaps they were incubators.
Do you remember this movie?

Don't get pissed with me for asking this question... I'm just curious as to peoples' different opinions...

Why is it that, whenever somethng good happens in our lives, we thank God and praise His name and give him so much credit for it- and yet, whenever something BAD happens in our lives, we go on to say that it's not God's and yada, yada, yada.

It seems kind of one-sided to give him credit for everything good that happens while saying that, due to the free-will of human nature, he can't be held responsible for any bad things.

If outcomes are due to the free will of human nature, shouldn't we be applying the same blame to ourselves for good behaviour as we do for bad?

Aiight, well i was having a convo. with my friend cause i was bragging about getting some cause im about to lol. And this good point came to my head and this is what i said to her "yah but WHY shouldnt u have sex before marriage n plus check this out, birth control or condoms werent invented back then so its addiquate for them to say something like "No u shouldnt because your not married and u would HAVE CHILDREN and they wouldnt have two parents which is what God wants (for the child to have 2 children)" lol do u feel meh?" and thats the end quote, i think its something you should think of and not be like "BUT ITS IN THE BIBLE!" or any other catholic crap like that lol (im methodist and my mind is too controversial to be in a catholic church lol). So tell me whatsup people.

1. Why did God create life at all... he made everything, including Satan... He knew or should I say it was his plan that man should fall... The Bible says that God has mercy on whom he wants to... I could go on, but I guess I am wondering why God created Satan and life at all, knowing what it would be like and the numbers of people that will not be saved... I mean, at times it almost seems like a curse...

Thanks everyone for replying to my post. Whenever I post my questions here seeking advice, I got a lot of feedbacks. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to you guys by saying I really thank your generosity.
I would like to add few details to my lust problem. I have had it for about 8 years and I slipped or masturbated to sensual materials usually, Internet porn so many times I can't remember.
Some people ask me, "Why do you feel so guilty? It is not like you are hurting anyone. What is so bad about masturbating to porn? Every guy does it."
Whether every guy does it or not, I have core belief in my mind that porn is wrong and is something good, Christian people should not engage in. I guess that is why I always feel guilty after every slip.
Like I said, it is painful to live everyday as temptation attacks me anytime, anywhere, sometimes out of nowhere. I know I can never give up though. And I believe God will empower me to purify my souls and to be clean spiritually. Amen.
