1. Why did God create life at all... he made everything, including Satan... He knew or should I say it was his plan that man should fall... The Bible says that God has mercy on whom he wants to... I could go on, but I guess I am wondering why God created Satan and life at all, knowing what it would be like and the numbers of people that will not be saved... I mean, at times it almost seems like a curse...

God created all the souls of everything yes. And He also created the physical universe and all the animals that live in it . But they did not have souls until God let the souls that wanted to to enter the physical universe and see what He had created. Some of those souls entered into the physical forms of things and enjoyed the sensations so much that they forgot that they could leave the body and where they came from.
So God had to create a system that would let these souls be released on the death of the physical body . thus starting the chain of birth and rebirth for those that didn't want to go back to God and stay there of their own accord.
All will be saved and returned to GOD and the day of the final Judgment. they will have no other choice but to return to the body of that which created everything.

I think Satan came about as a result of free will; probably was Angel of Saturnalia; and people who got out of control blamed him for tempting them into having any kind of good time at all; then making him into a scapegoat. If no one ever ate the apple, no one ever tempted Eve, etc . ..then there's no fall; but they were maybe just looking for someone to blame for results of curiosity. I think God created life in the first place because Agoddon told him to; maybe now he is saying 'when will you learn to think for yourself'. The Bhagavad Gita says there was never a time when the Soul did not exist, and maybe so also for God. Havent read it all yet. I have not yet been able to see a beginning to God or existence; Maybe the creation of life had something to do with someone being stuck in a dream, and he created a bunch of people to try to get her out of the nightmare she had fallen into from heaven

uhh I'm an atheist but the whole "god" thing seems like a fairy tale I mean if you seriously analyzed most of the things in the bible they wouldn't make any sense.

But apparently (what I remember from Sunday school) Satan was an angel that god had working for him and Satan became jealous of god. Blah Blah Blah.

He was all alone in the Universe and complete. He didn't need us to be happy. Then it says in Col 1:15 and Rev 3:14 he made a spirit person like himself. Jesus Christ. Then by him and with him all other things were created in heaven and earth. Millions and millions of other spirit sons. Who live somewhere out there for billions of years. Then they decided to created the earth.
Probably took trillions more years and then all the little animals and plants. Finally at long last people. But he gave them all free will the people the spirit creatures. Some sinned. and some hasent' Some appreciated life and was grateful so didn't.

Maybe God didn't have a choice. In order for him to exist his opposite Satan also had to exist. The same would go for the spirit world in order for it to exist the material world must also.

How long did God exist before he created man? If he always existed, then so did man, because we are part of God!

Because, beingGod, He HAD to create. It's in His nature. He created Man in His image, with free will, so we could choose to love HIM.Otherwise it would'nt be real love. We are responsible for accepting or rejecting Him. Anyone who truly seeks Him WILL be given a chance to hear the truth, and accept or reject it.
