I have been in rehab twice ,the first time I wasn't willing to go but family forced this on me ,the second time I was also forced to go but I took it more serious an had a Cristian counselor and through the growth of becoming someone other than who I was making myself I let go an let God help with this growing experience ,everyday becomes easier the more you fight whatever you are dealing with and the longer you work on this with counselors then you will eventually learn to lean on God to help you with your short comings and between you an him you will one day not even need to go to meetings even though I know they teach once a addict always a addict ,welllll i tend to not believe that because when God heals he heals 100% and we don't have to believe we are some diseased addict that never heals. I have healed an the only thing I can say that was the hardest of all is I had to give up hanging out with people that all their life consisted of was one big party ,then I had to get use to doing normal things which I found sometimes boring at first but then I realized boredom was true peace of mind ,now I actually enjoy movies,gym,family,etc...all the things I use to avoid because it wasn't party time, but anything you do consistently for three months becomes habit so rehab teaches you to train yourself to a healthier way of living .

I haven't but know of people who have-family, heres what I think, if you want help, and you need the structure of a 24-7 program, than it is a very good idea.
If a person goes through it but they don't really want to quit, they won't.
Only people who want to be helped, can be!!!
God Bless, I Do!!!

My husband was in re-hab a few years ago, but they let him sign himself out. He still drinks. I don't think that you should be able to get out once you are in there. It dosen't help if you can just give up when times get tough.
