I am a straight man, and recently a straight woman has voiced an interest in going on a date with me. As much as I'd like to take this woman on a date, and as much as I like her, the problem is that I've had to keep my sexuality a secret for many years. So has she.
I am afraid to take her to public places, because we may express our feelings for each other, and we're afraid other people may become offended, and decide we are bad people because of our sexuality. Should we stay at home, and keep our relationship a secret to spare people from moral issues with a man and woman relationship? Also, if this woman and I decided we wanted to get married some day, would you hope that the law would prevent us from doing so?

Anyway, I just feel that so many straight people beleive that homo sexuals need "permission" to be who they are, perhaps I should ask permission before "coming out as a straight"

What should I do?

I live in Kentucky and I've never seen so many proud rednecks. Redneck used to be a negative word, even among rednecks. A redneck used to be someone you can't go out and party with because they would piss everyone off and get their and usually your a** kicked too. A redneck was an inbred loser, someone who has never been out of the county, someone you DON'T want to be! Now, "redneck" has become a adjective that means a country person, a farm guy/gal, a cowboy/cowgirl. It's lost all negative connotation completely. When did this happen? Did Jeff Foxworthy, Ron White, Larry the Cable Guy, and Bill Engvall have that big an effect on American society.

I ask this because people always say that if a christian doesn't accept the other religions then christians are bad, misguided people. I told someone that being a christian means that Jesus is the "only" way, thruth and life, and that this is biblical. They said I was narrow minded and bias, but if it's biblical how can I be wrong?

A friend and myself sign our music very frequently at church, we have recently decided that we are going to do a service expecally for this, (this came from a suggestion at the church) We know ALOT of songs but we are looking for some new ones to do, but neather of us can come up with any. If anyone knows any we would be very greatful to hear any and all sugestions our children's ministry is also wanting to get involved in the program so any ideas on that one would also be great. I've noticed many college aged Jewish girls wear glasses (especially those black ones that are not very flattering).
