Excellent question. When I first read the Bible I tried to obey everything, gave up ham, didn't shave, observed the sabbath, etc. Christians are free from OT Law but should observe the basics anyway.

Christianity inherited from Judaism.
Instead of the Jews being God's chosen people, anyone can be a child of Israel for believing in Christ.
Many 700 Club Christians have gone too far with having close ties with Israel.

a little confusing.I'll answer to the best of my ability.
True Christians are those that follow the teachings of Christ.
They believe Jesus was the son of God and died on the cross
to pay for their sins. Now Israel is God's chosen people and
it includes today's Anglo-Saxon,Germanic,Scandanavian,Celtic
and kindred people. But many of these people do not accept
Jesus as their Savior.I hope I cleared that up for you.

most TRUE christians do not have or believe in religion. christians call it christianity because it is belief in the lord. most dont follow religion, they follow the Lord and the bible and thats it. and the bible is not all rules either. it has sins yes. and people even christians commit these everyday but thats the part thats great. we ask for forgivenss and have the help from the holy spirit to ask for forgiveness and actually fix our sins.
