Free will. We've made our world the way it is. It's up to ourselves to make it into a hell or a paradise. Though I believe in God, I also believe that we as humans must take responsibility for what we do and our surroundings. Adam and Eve is a story. It teaches us that we have to take responsibility for our actions (because we're special and have free will) and to obey God because eventually you will be judged.

Christianity tells you that you are born with mans origional sin, but we Muslims dont believe that. We believe that every child is born innocent and if they die in infancy then they are not judged for any mistakes.
Now the only difference between Islam and Christianity is that we believe that Jesus(pbuh) was a prophet and not Gods son.
If you Type in Quran in google search and read surah 7. This will tell you exactly how Satan turned into the misleading figure that he is,He thought he was better than Adam because he was made of fire and Adam of clay, he then misleaded them to eat of the forbidden fruit (telling them that they would stay in Heaven forever and be eternal). This is how he became the devil that he is. However we believe that when God sent Adam and Eve down to earth that Adam repented and said that he was sorry.God forgive him and left us on this earth to see who would be the best of mankind with there character and good deeds. This life is but a test to see who has earned Heaven and who deserves hell.
I was a Christian who had similiar questions to yourself which my religion couldn't answer, my religion also had contradictions.
I didn't know Islam was such a buetiful religion until i stumbled accross it and did some investigations and research.
I have provided a few websites for you to visit and you can watch free videos, e.g Priests and Preachers entering Islam
In the Quran it says that ' No man shall carry another mans burden(sins)

It has nothing to do with the Eden story---it's just a 'story' of the state of humanity at the time... a metaphor if you will...
God didn't create the world full of peril, humans did by choice.
We're consciousness evolving and should have already eradicated disease of the body. You may thank gov't, politcs, and religion for robbing us of our very right to life in all aspects.
You are only responsible for what you say and do. How you react and your intentions will set the pace of the outcome.
Use your mind and the gift of discernment. Free will is just that, free will. Use it with integrity...
Take care

He didn't create a world full of peril . He created a beautiful place for humans to live . Satan on the other hand stepped in and made a mess of it and still continues to this day . God destroyed all people on this earth when Noah was told to build the Ark , because all of humankind went totally astray and was out of control . That is an example of what satan has done for you and everyone else in this world . He continues to mislead you and is yearning to have you join him in Hell . John 8:44 , Revelation 21:8 . Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved . God bless you ....

You're paying the price because you live in that ancestor's world. You live in the world WE'VE made for ourselves. If you know the Eden story, your questions seems rather pointless. You already know the answer.

The world is full of beauty and humankind is incredibly loving and generous. Every moment millions of people do wonderful things. I cannot explain the acts of nature or evil men, but they are fewer by far than the wonder of life -- if only you would look.

there're many ways (negative&postive) u can look at it. You can appreciate the opportunity to be alive, free human body was given to you. you have the opportunity to make a profit for yourself (not just monetary) to invest towards eternity. the theory of the world creating itself and just thing happening for no reason just doesn't click. if there is a creator I belive he must have had a purpose for us. would u make something and mean it to be useless. that doesn't make sense. God created this universe for a purpose, God definetely doesn't need it. we need god. he doesn't need us.

If the world was always sunny, would you ever appreciate the sun? If you knew nothing but darkness, would you long for light? Diversity is important in all walks of life. Losing helps us appreciate winning. Winning helps us understand losing.
