Hello , just curious to know why some muslim community dont want to let anybody can see their hairs ? do they have any particular age when they are supposed to follow this tradition coz i saw some of their girls kids can show their hairs ? how and where this tradition got started and is their any particular community or country who are following this tradition? I heard that they are supposed to show only to their husband and not to anybody else but i am not sure about it . can anybdoy explain me about that.

...that you want him or her, when you really don't and not even thinking about the nutcase, and, after you ignore the person, they get all weird on you, like nutcase weird (yelling insults). I mean, how conceited and self-absorbed is that? Why do straight people think that every lesbian or gay person wants them when that is truly not the case? Help me out here.

I've started reading it and am only on page 21 but so far I believe everything he's said, like that the FDA have strong financial ties to the pharmaceutical companies and they are all just out to make money and they do that by keeping people sick instead of actually finding a cure. What do you guys think? (I'm speaking out to real people, NOT to any lobbyists, members of an medical associations, doctors, members of the FDA or FTC, or especially those of pharma companies, because we all know what you're going to say - that everything Kevin Trudeau says is a crock)

Its causing all sorts of issues. People are running around killing others because they think their version of the story is better than everyone elses - while forgetting that in the end its the EXACT same story.

All you bible thumping nutters are focusing on the story itself too much. Youre even picking and choosing which parts of the story to listen too and which to ignore.

Why not ditch your religion and learn to be a good person and live a decent life without using a stupid book as a crutch?

I went to a Catholic school for the majority of my life. I have also attended Protestant schools. Throughout my "study" of the Bible, I have only found evidence of sexism, anti-Semitism, and contradictory tenets that do not make sense at all.

How can some Christians take so literally the preachings of the Bible when they were obviously made for another era in humanity?

The time of Martin Luther for Protestants is over as well. When he posted the 95 Theses in 1517, he preached for literal, self-study of the Bible and introspection. Let's see...how many years later is it now? The Bible wasn't literally applicable to society in the 16th century, let alone the 21st.

Our Father knows that there are many who profess to belong to Him & actually don't, or have become apostate & have fallen away. The 34 Day War between Israel & Hizbullah (actually, behind it Iran & Syria working with Lebanon, even Russia, & other countries who are out to destroy Israel)

The ten virgins that Jesus spoke of in the Word, & the five who had let the oil in their own lamps run out, pleading with the ones with filled lamps, to give them some of their oil, but the door had already been closed & the Lord told them He didn't know them!

The end of days have begun & the warfare will become nearly unbearable but that His grace would see the true believers through to the end & that there is coming a mightier outpouring of His Spirit than the world has ever known or will know while He brings those who belong to Him to faith in Christ Jesus.

The great falling away has begun and that the discouragement & depression that have hit so many believers, is terrible & unknown until now, physical infirmities will begin to go across the earth, we've only seen the tip of the iceberg.

Terrible wars & incredible natural disasters will become commonplace. Millions of people will literally lose their minds because of the rapidity with which this is going to be happening. Fighting and gangs will become the rule of the land, with military, even from other countries, trying to intervene if at all.

Our own nation is going to undergo changes that will cause many to wonder where the Lord is & what is happening to them.This word will offend many believers -- at first. This will change as time goes by & the word of the Lord is quickened to believers throughout the world.

I was seeking religion to avoid pain and evil. But if some religion like Buddhism teaches that I have to accept evil and pain in order to develop, then I feel tricked by such religion.
I prefer teaching of love and joy. I do not like teachers that bring pain and suffering! Buddhism sucks!

And I do mean city NOT town as there are millions of beautiful towns. I live in Nottingham which is a dump and all the midlands cities Derby, Leicester, Birmingham really dont have that much going for them in the way of parks, old fashioned buildings.. or even trees!. I think York is very pretty and cultured. Its got that old fashioned feel to it. But I think the most beautiful I have seen is Edinburgh. What do you think?

I saw a bumper sticker that said, "Believe or be left." If an Atheist does not believe in God, Heaven, or any other religious diety, how can this work? This is a horrible scare tactic that I have seen practiced by many members of the church and I believe it is wrong. Saying "Believe or be left," makes God seem almost spiteful and evil. I know the Bible says that if you believe in Him you will find everlasting paradise etc... but Atheists simply don't believe in it. So why even try? Do you really want everyone else to believe in the same thing you do? Wouldn't that be going against God's wishes? He gave us free will to decide on our own, so why not leave it? I'm curious what answers or comments I will receive. I'm sure I will be insulted, so I'm ready.
