I think someones value can be judged by their deeds on earth.

Certainly my life or yours, or anyone elses has more value than a person who takes the life of another person by committing a crime.

Yes, lives of people who do not commit crimes against humanity have more value than those who do.

I would have no problem using the death penalty on someone who is found conclusively to have committed the crime of murder against another human, provided that the murder was premeditated, calculating, and committed in cold blood and not justifiable homicide.

A murderers life has less value than someone who does not commit murder.

Other than that, all human life is equal and is not dependent upon skin color, intelligence, health, wealth, social status, or popularity.

I make an exception for murderers and criminals who commit crimes against humanity.

deep question that depends on personal belief, here's mine;
I am a believer in karma and reincarnation, so you carry your karmic debts with you throughout your many lives until you learn to become a complete being that is harmonized with your higher self/soul.
Therefore we have lived all different sorts of experience from sinner to saint and everything in between. Therefore we are all on a level playing field, there is no absolute evil or goodness, there are just choices and consequences.
To make a long story short I am a firm believer that all human life has the same value, "good/bad", young/old, man/woman etc. Yes, I do believe that human life has a value, it's the ultimate value, worth more than anything else in this universe, interesting though that we have gotten to the point in this society where it really isn't valued in the least. For that small portion who holds the world's wealth it seems as if people are disposable in exchange for income.

You would think that it does have value and that with all men being created equal, all human life has the same value.

However, society makes sure to let those that are less fortunate, handicapped or different in some capacity (skin color, weight, etc) that they are devalued because they are different.

Many would say that those who are different would be better off not being born. A rather bleak and pessimistic outlook I think.

It's what makes us different and unique that sets us apart. It's the differences that bring color and excitement to our lives. How boring would it be if everyone were the same? So in my opinion, everyone's life has the same value, regardless if you're Oprah or the bum living under a bridge.

Human life have the same value. Any living being have value. I'm surprised that with this belief I have, I can eat pork, chicken and fish.Shame on me. Anyway back to the value of human life, if everyone respect the value of human life, what a wonderful place our world will be.

YES all human life is of the same value. It is just those with over rated opinions of themselves that think they are more valuable than anyone else.

I would say "yes", but then I think of a few people who rank as nothing more than a waste of oxygen.
