Actually, England sent all of their undesirables to Austrailia which is why the accents sound so similar. I agree it's time to close the borders to illegals, but we should review each situation for the people already here on a case to case basis. Ex: get rid of the criminals, keep the upstanding citizens. Also, I'm getting tired of people on the news lumping legal & illegal immigrants into the same category. The legal ones earned the right to be here, went through the background check, etc.

Please do send them over. Maybe they will do manual work which is something that a lot of Aussies won't do. We are importing a lot of people at the moment and the lazy b's here are getting upset with us bosses, but if they work for fair pay why not.
