I've started reading it and am only on page 21 but so far I believe everything he's said, like that the FDA have strong financial ties to the pharmaceutical companies and they are all just out to make money and they do that by keeping people sick instead of actually finding a cure. What do you guys think? (I'm speaking out to real people, NOT to any lobbyists, members of an medical associations, doctors, members of the FDA or FTC, or especially those of pharma companies, because we all know what you're going to say - that everything Kevin Trudeau says is a crock)

I don't think it's quite as sinister as that, but there is a money connection. It costs money to fund research. You can't patent a substance which occurs naturally in nature, so there isn't a great deal of money to be made by researching whether an herb will cure cancer, for example. A pharmaceutical company wants to make money and so will fund research for those things that look the most promising financially.

You bet that if they could develop drugs that would prevent sickness and could be patented, they would--there would be a lot of money in that. (That's what vaccinations are.) Would they deliberately avoid doing so in order to make more money off treating the sicknesses? (Did they sit on vaccinations so that people could get "really sick" and need more drugs?) Remember that the people working for these companies are all people with familiies and friends, most have probably been touched by sickeness and disease. How many truly evil people do you believe exist who want money at all costs? I don't think it's that many.

I had cancer and was treated at a "research" hospital. I asked if they wanted to know anything about me so that they could apply that to research in how I got the cancer--maybe help to prevent others from getting it. They said they don't do "that kind" of research. Their money goes towards treating and curing cancers. That's nice, but wouldn't most of us prefer not to get it in the first place? When you are giving money to cancer research, aren't you kind of thinking "prevention"? The truth is there is more money to fund research for treatment than there is for prevention--especially if prevention involves nutrition, exercise, and environmental concerns.

I think the book is basically true and the man is trying to get the truth out. For people to reclaim their personal power they need to know the truth. WE are responsible for our own health. Don't allow the health corporation to use you unto death for profit.

Yes I believe what the book is about too. These people don't care about your health, all they care about is the money they make. It's a sad truth, but the world is money hungry.
