Funny you ask this. My partner is returning from China after a two week business trip. I will pick him up from the airport. Give him a hug. Carry a bag to the car. Kiss him hello in the car. Go home, fix him something to eat, help him unpack and sort his laundry. Tonight we'll go to sleep early because the time difference makes him exhausted. I will sleep better knowing he's back home safe.
Expected me to say sex? It's about the love we share, not sex.

Trusting the feelings are those of pure admiration; the possibilities are endless.
Meet, greet, eat, and ^%#@$^%$#& ! Not necessarily in that order.
Granted they will be tired when they return, however, this is where I would play it by ear. Nothing like a good cuddle and resting to assure they are reacquainting themself with their surroundings ~ you just can't rush anyone's return.
Flowers are always a nice added touch. Remind them how much you love them, and missed them. A wonderful gesture that may shorten their next trip away from home. wink!
Enjoy your company - you'll both will rekindle those feelings quickly.
Cheers,

Holy smokes, I would be at the airport with a smile from ear to ear. I would hug her and kiss her and welcome her home... Then I would get her in the car, drive like a bat out of hell. Run in the house and lock the bedroom door.... then after hours for showing just how much I missed her, we would lie in bed and catch up with the time lost.....
1) I would have made sure she eat before she got on the plane
2) made sure she went to bed early the night before.

I would certainly meet them at the airport or be home when they arrived, the house would be spotless, I would greet him with kisses and bring in his bags and let the dogs get some attention and help him unpack and begin doing his laundry while making him something to eat and catching him up on things that happened at home while he was gone.

First thing would be a great big hug and kiss. I'l leve the second thing to your imagination of two people who haven't seen each other in a long time and the physical actions.
