It makes no sense, as you said you are a true latin, not them. Imagine blacks, native americans and asians living in USA calling themselves anglos or germanics? Makes no sense.

Why are you being so unfriendly? As far as I know the Indians will always be Indians and keep their old tribal ways; they are not classified as Hispanics because they have never been assimilated into their countries' cultures. They are at the bottom of the class structure.

As for the next 2 groups, they are mixtures of Spanish and Portuguese men and Indian women with African slaves thrown in the mix also. All these 2 groups are Spanish speaking.

Then you have the pure Europeans on the top of the class system. It is just like in the USA. They have a color line in some countries, and a language barrier.

Anglo-American is defined as: a North American whose native language is English and whose culture is of English origin. Broadly defined, even blacks and Orientals can be Anglos!

Go back and study the history of the Americas and read the English dictionary!

In this country, we can all trace our families to several different countries and regions of the world and we are very proud of them no matter where they came from. World history teaches us that our families and national groups were always on the move, so no telling where we originally came from when we eventually arrived here after many, many generations and wars.

this is the way it is in the new world. things are not the same as in the old world, darling. when the spanish and portuguese came here they made babies with people from africa and asia and the new world and they made them speak spanish. here it's a language issue. you may be of sicilian heritage but you speak english, the anglo tongue, while they speak spanish and portuguese. those meztizos, mullatoes, and indians are all part of a big mixed bag of genetic heritage that is united by history and language here in the americas.
if you are sicilian, then you should know that you are not really properly latin. the latins were the romans, if you want to be really strict about it. and they had blonde hair and funny noses. you probably have dark hair because italy and sicily were invaded by peoples eastern and northern europe, and from africa, who gave you your dark hair and eyes and generally added their diversity to the population. it is more than likely that there is very little of that original roman stock in your genetic makeup.
I don't know where you live but I suspect that this is another case of a gringo confusing skin colour with what is actually a language issue. there are no real races in this world, everything's mixed up and everybody has been breeding with everybody else since the dawn of time. the fact is that the language you speak affects your life much more than your skin tone, and you speak english, while they speak latin languages.

Sicilians are NOT Latino. they come from Sicily . Mulatto's as you put it are of mixed ancestry , as black and white .
