In the Old Testament times, He'd wait a while before smiting you fiercely. Now it's like, 'wait until Judgement Day' or whenever He's going to get around to it. It's like He doesn't care anymore.

seen. I haven't had the opportunity yet. I enjoy watching the British cable TV station here in the USA. My hushand was the patient of an Irish Dr for 5 yrs, who moved back to Ireland when his 5 children were becoming school age. He and his Irish wife were here for 11 yrs. He is a specialist in heart/lungs. My question, FINALLY, is which country do you live in, city or countryside? Do you have family living close to where you live? What is your occupation? Question is for people over 45 years of age.

If you can play while your driving fast, and you don't mind a little distortion from the amp, what exactly is wrong here? Okay the speed limit gets flexed a bit but hey, it's art! Your opinions would be most welcome, good or bad; after all I did ask.

I really wonder, it seems to me that this idea is met with a certain degree of glee. I have had it tossed to me in the light of, "I will be watching you be judged to hell with a smile on my face." Isn't that rather unChristian? Really people, you need to do a better job of hiding your malice.

I know what it says in the bible, but my personal opinion is that many parts of the bible were written by sexist men who had a ridiculous fear of women. I'm not saying the whole bible is a lie, but plenty of it is definitely open to interpretation, in my opinion.
So why is it people automatically assume God has to be a he?

I believe in predestination because of the fact that we can remember the past. If i can remember the things that happened in the past then most likely thier is someone in the future remembering this past. If that is the truth then the future must be set ie i cant change what i dont know is going to happen. If this is the truth and the future is truely set which i believe it is then the world is begining and ending and living all at the same moment. That would also explain ghost. if we are all sharing the same space then we should be able to see glimpes of one another. That is also how God knows who is going to heaven and whos not. This does not stop free will as some would say because we all still have choices to make. Ok, your turn, tell me how i am wrong.

The Sabbath is the 7th day of the week, the day of rest. Why is it celebrated on Sundays, then? I was in church once, and my Sunday school teacher admitted that the Sabbath day was Saturday, but then he went on to say "But wouldn't it be better if we celebrated it on the first day, and not the last?" And I remember thinking, 'Who gave you the right to change that?'
Thoughts, anyone?

It's really getting annoying. Day and night chatter chatter chatter. I'm kind of beginning to wish God deleted the part about always being with me, and always answering me.

Does He ever do this you?

Ever been regressed? As in taken back to a past life through hypnosis? I was done about nine years ago, yet remember it as if it was only yesterday. I used to be a man, who was hanged for doing illegal things trying to support a daughter he was raising alone. I could see ships, proper big old sail ships, and I was wearing one of those tri-peak hats. (Like a highwayman) I was hanged from a tree next to a windmill. I am very serious about this. No p*** taking please.

We were on holiday in Devon and we drove into this site-seeing place. We parked the car and went for a walk. On the way we passed this lovely looking little pub, with a thatched roof and hanging baskets outside, and a menu chalked up on a blackboard. We promised ourselves a drink and a meal when we came back down the hill. Two hours later we came down (there was only one way up and down the hill, the other side was a sheer drop into the sea) the pub was derelict - no hanging baskets, windows boarded up and the roof half missing! We ran to the car and couldn't leave quick enough! We asked about it in a shop about three miles away, and the woman told us that she'd heard our story before - but had never seen the pub 'open' , as it had been gutted by fire 8 years previously!!!

I see all too often on here that people in the midst of seeking truth considered deluded in the fact that they don't accept someone else's "truth". I wonder why that is? Are you afraid of what will be found?
