Well it would kind of s-ck if when you finally got a girl willing to have sex with you, and God reached down through the clouds and plucked her naked from the back seat of your pinto. In other words
take the good with the bad.

It's not a matter of being lackadaisical, it's a matter of it being foretold. You have been warned that retribution is coming and that no man will know the exact time. Maybe he said it that way in order to have everyone be on their best behavior just in case. If you work in the fast food industry and you are told the health inspectors are going to drop in one day this week, you are going to be more careful to follow proper food prep and handling guidelines than you would on just a normanl day. It is us who have been become lackadaisical in our following of the path Jesus set for us. When the day comes for Judgement, a great many of us are gonna have 0's on our performance reports.

God is busy having a wild fling with Eris, and when they get back from their thousand-year weekend in the Bahamas, you are gonna see some smiting for sure. It's gonna be smite, smitten, smote, all over the globe; there won't be a Republican or John Birch Society member left standing.
And those awful Golden Arches will be struck down--God don't want no competition for his Pearly Gates franchise, and he'll sue them for trademark infringement and steal all their profits. (Where do you think he's gonna get the funding for those streets paved with gold?)

God is only directly concerned with Christians and their behaviour, but God welcomes with open arms anyone who wants to follow Him. As regards the so-called Judgement Day, Christians and non-Christians will be judged. God still cares, but the choice is yours - nobody will twist your arm. Try a Bible study to get the facts - the net is loaded with free Bible studies. Go well, and God Bless!

I trust that God has is doing the right thing for the right reason at the right time.
God sees the big picture and we only see a tiny glimpse of one little part.
With love in Christ.

Lol. Well He cares of course. I think if he were less lackadaisical about enforcement, then there wouldn't be many of us alive.

That's why there's Free Will. We are intelligent beings that have the smarts to make right or wrong choices. I'd rather have choices and live by them, then have no Free Will and adhere to fire-and-brimstone laws.

Oh so now it is all GOD's fault?
I thought George Bush was in charge.
What if he or she really ordered you to take the necessary steps?
What do you think the world would look like tomorrow morning if you survive the night?
You make me laugh. Thanks. I had not since yesterday.
