a lot of people are so stupid they think that evolution means we came from monkeys, instead of that we share a common ancestor with monkeys (obvious, because of the DNA similarities.)
people are willfully stupid in this matter, because they are willing to be deceived by their preachers, parents, and politicians. the poor saps don't realize they're being used to solidify political power for some very very very bad men.
i'm so sick of these damned fools and the way they endanger our country. evolution is actually the most supported theory in science. gravity and electricity are also theories.

People - a theory is not a hypothesis. A hypothesis is a guess. A theory is the best explanation for a large body of facts.
Evolution is undoubtedly true. Ask the Pope. Why do people think they need a new flu vaccine every year?
If you don't believe the theory of evolution, you mark yourself as a dupe of the right wing. How very embarassing for you. And how very dangerous for all the rest of us!

BTW, many evolutionary biologists are christian and they have issued a statement begging their creationist colleagues to stop deceiving people - as the creationists KNOW they are doing.

Why do you people respond by name calling or making others out to be ignorant? That is not the Christian way. Why do I reject evolution? that is simple it can not exist. It is a theory and nothing more. I do not see things evolving around me. I see knowledge growing but I do not see evolution. It is after all only a theory. It is not called the fact of evolution.

Because parts of it, are factual as well as simply a postulate. Most people who reject it do so on religious grounds, I do feel however, that people are able to maintain their religious beliefs while simultaneously accepting SOME of the things we know to be true about evolution.

I'm a Bible-thumping Christian, but I also believe in scientific proof. That's why I believe in Adam and Eve, but I also know there were dinosaurs, and that the Earth, and it's inhabitants, have been evolving for a billion years. God created all life, including the cave man. But no one has ever found an evolutionary link between the cave man and modern man. Modern man was a new creation by God (Adam and Eve).

What difference does it make? Do you feel that non-believers somehow diminishes your truth? Are you afraid these people will not be able to lay in a box and rot after death?
Next we will be arguing about "How can anyone not think Chocolate is the best flavor ice cream." I don't understand why we all need to believe the same thing? Why can't we all live contentedly in our own beliefs and move on?

because everyone is different.
we can choose freely - to accept, reject... or undecided.
some want more evidence.
some want to rely on a supernature power, and feel the evolution theory takes that away...
some havent thought of it
some just follow the society.
its a free world !!

Because the educational system sucks, they get confused by family and church telling them that fairy tales are part of real life.
The main reason is people don't fully understand it, and instead of trying to understand it they choose to remain lazy and ignorant and accept the snake oil explanation because it's easier to digest.
