There's this girl that I really like that's why I wanna know how.I can't ask her straightly if she's gay or not 'coz I'm afraid it might jeopardise our friendship. If she finds out that I like her and she's not gay,she might not wanna be close friends with me anymore.Well I kinda suspected that she is a lesbian but I'm not sure.

...not by good works, but by the grace of God do you enter heaven. Why should I bother with the guilt of believing myself to be a worthless sinner when I can sincerely convert at the last minute?

And for those who question sincerity, assume I mean the word as it is defined. No effort to trick the Almighty, simply an acknowledgement that I've been tempted all my life to do whatever I want and now that I'm dying, I want to make amends.

According to what I'm hearing on this board, I could be Jack the Ripper all my life, yet get into heaven through that heart-felt conversion.

In other words, God doesn't care what I do with my life, as long as I believe in Him before the end. Thus only will He let me into heaven.

So where is the incentive to do good?

Did you sit down one day and said: "Well...Why don't I be a straight person?". Or was it that you were born this way?

Seems to me there is a LOT of pressure on people to BELIEVE.

Short ENCOUNTERS I have had with Christianity ALWAYS came back to how I needed to BELIEVE.

As a Sir Lankan I think I should know how people discribe our nation. I want to find out that if they know the truth.

I have $200 to give away to someone who is in real need of it, 'cos I made this vow unto myself that if a certain matter falls according to my plan I would donate it to someone.
But, my problem is that I don't know anyone who will like to have this money. Do you? Or would you like to have it, at least?

Islamic societies are characterized by extreme separation of the sexes on the whole of society. If your interested in the subject, google it or start with some of the links below -

"Sexual deprivation may be a factor in the current wave of suicidal violence, unleashed by the Palestinian cause as well as revolutionary Islamism. The tantalising prospect of having one's pick of the loveliest virgins in paradise is deliberately dangled in front of young men trained for violent death. http://time.blogs.com/daily_dish/2006/03/sexual_repressi.html

it is interesting reading opinions that claim Hitler did not declare war against the Jews, so that was murder (if you read Mein Kampf, it is hard to come to that conclusion, btw).

Presumably, a country declaring war absolves the soldiers of religious guilt.

So 25,000 dead Iraqis at the hands of (presumably) Christian soldiers is okay? Jesus said it's okay?

The receptionist smells like urine and feet and this odor remains trapped in the fabrics she encounters during the work week. When you approach the reception area on the weekends, the smell is just as unpleasant as if she was here in person.

How can someone change the way they are? It's like I'd wake up one day and decide "I'm gonna be an african american from now on, even though i'm asian and from vietman." What??! It's IMPOSSIBLE to choose your gay. You cannot choose your sexual orientation. Gays know they are gay since the moment they get a point of view. If they could choose to be gay, do you actually think a 4 year old would choose to be gay? You can't choose what you are. So I wish people would stop saying gays chose to be what they are. If it's such a sin to be gay, then why would they choose to be gay? If someone is gay they're gay. Let them be, and let them get married. How is that when a father rapes her daughter people are like "Oh that's bad," but when a gay walks in a church, people don't want to accept them, and thinks it's such a sin to be gay. By the way, I'm not gay, I just think the ways gays are treated and judged upon are cruel.
