Jihad is an arabic word deriving from ijtihad, which means "inner struggle" ... it is all about the faithful struggling with the physical world while trying to retain a link to the spiritual world - whether it be struggling to do good, or to balance spirituality and your 9 to 5 job, or to resist oppressive occupation of your familys land...... it's all ijtihad.

no, sex is in no way associated with anything. well u cant blame a religion or all muslims for that matter. and islam does not repress sexual interests, thats why abortion is forbidden and so is family planning, and i think its also forbidden in all religions just that many of us do not follow our faith perfectly well.

We all have sexual energy and to this sexual energy we can dichotomize it into two groups: feminine and masculine energy. Feminine being the power, the raw energy that just kinda sits there and experiences while the masculine energy is the power that acts on that energy.

People who repress this sexual energy are constantly at battle with themselves, (I've seen it many times through my own experiences as a christian and several christian friends.) Many times I wished for a way to express this energy in a way that wouldn't be "damning" to myself and to this end I desired to find a wife to the point of fascination of a mere idea of someone to express my sexuality with.
