Does your Qu'ran also have books like our Christian Bible?? You know...Genesis, Exodus, etc, etc!! Do the characters in your Koran have Arabic names?? You know...lie Moses, Adam, Daniel, Jesus, etc!!

My neighbor is German and I can barely understand him when he talks to me.Then when he has a few beers--- forget it.
So I smile and say ya alot and nod my head. I got to thinking that I may be saying yes to things that I dont mean too.
Hes lived here for along time, so he speaks fluent English.( but with a HEAVY accent)

Should I continue to smile and act like I understand him, or ask him to repeat things or what.
I DONT want to be rude. Helpful Suggestions please.

Firstly, do you believe in such things?

Secondly, if yes, could you give a list of types / well known ones?

I know most of the saints and such. What's interested me is, I've heard of some sort of unspoken war. Between both beings. With generals and all other ranks. It may not be so literal, but exist nonetheless.

Lastly, anyone heard of this war?

I am planning a ritual to honor Bast. However, we will also be evoking other goddesses in the ritual. (We will not be mixing pantheons, etc.) Should we evoke the other goddesses first, then Bast... or should we evoke Bast first, then the other goddesses? What do you think.. and why?

recently i have been thinking alot and i'm confused (which isn't unusual) most of our lives we are led to beleive that Adam and Eve were the first humans on this earth as when god created the earth he made man and woman, now the part i'm confused about is we have also been told we evolved from the Apes, so who was here first? I am in a gay "monagamous" relationship; I used quotes because from my question you can figure my question here are more details. We have been together for almost 6 years and over those last 6 years my partner repeatedly chats with other guys on line; lately it has come to the point of an obsession with a guy in Australia. He is up at 6 in the morning so that he can chat with for 2-3 hours, and their conversations are very graphic and there has been no mention of me or our relationship in these conversations. How do I know well I installed a viewer to check on the pages visited etc. He knows about this and still persists on doing this chatting, even after I told him how much it hurts me and makes me feel which is like crap. So do you consider this kind of behaviour cheating? Has anybody else experienced this and what did you do about it? Just wanting to work this out, not sure if I will be able to take much more of it. Thanks for you responses and have any questions just ask.....

I understand that religion is about faith, but why do people who know about science and history still take religion as though it is literal, or that their religion is any more correct than anyone elses. There have been religions for thousands of years and all cultures beleive that theirs is correct. Arrogance maybe?, I don't know, explain it to me.

It's prety much agreed we all can't agree on this whole God and government issue so why can't we all just take a vote and whoever wins wins. And after the vote the issue is droped if you don't like it move to somplace you do agree with or just sit back be quiet cause the majority has spoken. And if ya keep complaining after the fact publicly then we just throw you in jail for incitement.
Yeah I know the constitution thingy ,but hell everyone interpretes it to fit there own agenda anyway lets say we set it aside while we settle this lil issue.........
