there are young people who feel old at 16. problems and huge responsibilities do that to them. on the other hand, a lot of older people dont even feel their age-- they just cruise thru life feeling young and acting young (not immaturely, mind you)-- being so happy with life that you cant believe they're actually past 30.

so, which one are you?

I once went to a church and when the service was getting real emotional a whole heap of people started bursting out laughing, some were even rolling on the ground laughing, I had never seen this in my life, I completely freaked out and never went back there again, I felt like something was seriously wrong when I was there. I was told this phenomena is called the "Toronto Blessing", in your opinion is this something demonic? please explain your answer, but dont make it too long.

Whenever I talk with people they always ask" what happens after we die?" But I wonder why, with the millions of years of history before our birth, that the questions for answers doesn't look to much in that direction. If you think about it, after we die there is an infinite amount of time we spend dead, yet, we spent infinite amount of time before birth not living. For instance, if your 30, why not pose the question, where was I in 1948? I would consider this topic both a religion/philosophy question and a science question?

I know I will get flack for this question but it has to be asked. Would it be morally right to sterilize people whose IQ is below 70. I am not advocating killing people in any way shape or form but rather a way to increase national intelligence over a shorter period of time.

I am just wondering how many people is such an idea going to offend.

In many tribal societies, the elderly were seen as a source of wisdom and were treasured by their society. Looks were unimportant. In our own society now, youth and beauty are worshipped far above age and wisdom. What happened? When did the shift occur?

I find the word "lifestyle" offencive when used to describe GLBT'S. To me it implies a level of choice as well as a way of living. Such as what car a person drives, what clothes they wear, what restaurants they frequent, how they decorate their home...etc.

I'm a Mom, first and foremost. Being lesbian is just part of the myriad of complexities which make me who I am. It's not the be-all and end-all of my existance. So when I hear the word "lifestyle" refer to GLBT's, I am very offended as if I live differently than anyother woman, Mom, Daughter, Partner or whatever.

I am having a big birthday party in December and I want to give away 5 little gifts that cost no more than $25. The gifts have to be unisex!

I was thinking about giving away a bottle of wine and 4 gift certificates to places such as Best Buy, Chili's, Overstock.com, Target, Netflix or something like that.

Can you help me decide what to give or select better gifts? What kind of gifts would you like to receive? Everyone at the party will get a party favor but these are some special gifts. What gifts are appropriate? My friends tell me I shouldn't do anything but that's not in my nature!
