NO; and God says not to.
De 18:10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
De 18:11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
De 18:12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD:

If astrology is "right", then how come it can't predict every new star, planet or other celestial body astronomers find?

If every astrologer has the same sources about the stars and planets, why aren't the predictions of every astrologer exactly the same?

Answer to both questions: Because astrology (or asstroll-ogy) is a pile of gibberish that they make up as they go along to dupe gullible idiots.

Of course not, especially the cute little blurbs that you can read in any daily newspaper. But just remember that the predictions of Nostradamus were done using the principles of astrology as well as the Aztec Calendar.

It is necessary to acknowledge the power of Satan in the lives of the unsaved in the secular world. However, Satan is not god. Only God is All Powerful.
Yet, such a power of Satan in the lives of the unsaved must be "respected" by believers and understood before one attempts to challenge it.
Astrology is only a corruption of the Word of God written in the stars. God created the stars in heaven and gave them names (Psalms 147:4), Names we know have meanings. Groups of stars are called constellations. If each star has a name and a group of stars have many names (constellations), then we can surmise that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is written in the stars (Psalms 19). When Enoch prophesied of the second coming of Christ (even before the first-Jude vs. 14) it can only be attributed to his knowledge of the meaning of the prophecies laid out in the star formations. Satan knows this and has corrupted its true meaning in hopes of deceiving the world and all who follow the beast. Adam had this knowledge, so did Seth. It was after the flood that this knowledge had "disappeared." This knowledge will be restored before the return of Christ to earth in the future.

Why would it be necessary? Millions of people don't. I don't see any astrology police coming out to throw them in jail for it. I don't see them falling over dead because they didn't believe in it. What sort of a bizarre question is this, anyway?

No...unless you are in deep **** and do not know what to do. Astrology in such cases may be helpful in showing you a ray of hope.

No. Nothing is necessary beyond the physical needs; whether you choose to believe or no is up to you.
