What I find funny is that, I bet you, I BET YOU, that all these people who have said they hate poor English, have on many occasions in their lives, mispeled somthing, or said "funner", or said "I'm doing good," or mixed up plurals and singulars, or mixed up who's and whom's, and "my mom and I" vs. "my mom and me". Although yes, horrible English can be annoying, so can being anal about it. When you're in a hurry or are flustered or are excited, typing (or speaking) can be done carelessly.
When it comes to people who don't have English as their first language, I would commend their effort and give suggestions rather than complain about a few imperfections. Geez people, get the sticks out of your asses. Most Americans don't even know 2 languages and I find that more intelligent than knowing one language perfectly.
Now, I will say that purposeful stupidity is annoying. tHiS s.HiT, and fndng shrtcts t evry wrd s stpd. Ppl, is people!!!! Obsessive slang irritates me. Yes when something is perfect it looks and reads nice, but if there are few and minor problems, does it really affect you? See? Even right there... I STILL get confused on effect and affect and couldn't tell you if I used the right one. Does that REALLY bother people that much?
I don't like anal people in general. They must be unhappy.

Poor English. At least I can understand what the anal people are saying/typing, which is more than I can say for the ignorant masses who don't even know how to use spell check.

Being anal retentive is worse. People who have "poor" writing skills don't care and live their lives in blissful ignorance. People who are anal retentive worry about it all the time and live unhappy lives.

umm your question should have been -
which is worst: poor English, or being anal retentive about English?
without proper punctuation, your question sounds improper.
and after that, the anwer to your question: poor English.

Anal retention. Just think about it.
Language is for communication, as long as we can understand the question, that is good enough. And sometimes errors are darn amusing. :)

Poor English by a landslide!
And it is getting worst and worst
by the day. In a month or so we
will all need a special course so
we may be able to interpret some
of the questions, so we may answer
them.
A bit exaggerated, but you get the drift?

L33t talk is more annoying on other gaming forums I visit. If the bad grammar english post made by a poster on a bbs is a typo, then that can be forgiven so long as it's comprehendible or if they can correct it. If English is not a person's first language as shown on their posts then they will improve on it later on. But l33t talk or leet talk is more annoying to see anywhere on the net

I vote anal retentive. I don't see the point in commenting on someone's grammar unless they ask me to (and in some cases, pay me to).
