I am planning a ritual to honor Bast. However, we will also be evoking other goddesses in the ritual. (We will not be mixing pantheons, etc.) Should we evoke the other goddesses first, then Bast... or should we evoke Bast first, then the other goddesses? What do you think.. and why?

Daemon- you INVOKE a god/dess into a person. You EVOKE deity into a circle. Invoking- putting something INTO a person, Evoking is asking something to be present. That's one of my pet peeves. Ask my students. Honey.
David G- I'm choosing the Goddesses that we are working with VERY carefully. Thanks.

Also, the reason I'm asking WHY, is because most rituals I've attended like this have evoked the goddess-of-honor last. Like a wedding... bridesmaids, MOH, THEN the most important one, the bride. Its just interesting. Thanks for your answers, y'all. :)

That would depend on who else you are inviting, and why. If you're not mixing pantheons it shouldn't actually be dangerous no matter what you do, but you might ruffle some feathers if you invite goddesses from areas that are in conflict now or traditionally have been. (Upper vs lower Egypt, for example).
As for the guy who thought you might lose control of the deities- uh, you can't lose what you never had. That's why they're called gods, and not spirits. I'd avoid talking to groups that traditionally aim to use deities for their own goals, since this clearly isn't what you're attempting to do. You might talk to the folks at Per Ankh or Akhet Hathor for better advice than I can give you. These organisations are aimed at the accurate recreation of Egyptian religion and ritual.

I would evoke the other Gods and Goddesses first and save Bast for last. I can't really give you a sound reason except that generally, the guest of honor is introduced after all the other guests are present and seated. Also, the first place winner is announced after the honorable mentions and the star of the show comes out in the center while the supporting cast is bowing. You know? It just seems right. Anyway, that's how I've always done it. When we evoke a specific God or Goddes, He or She is always the last called although we state that the party is for the guest of honor as we invite all the others.

From what I understand of the Egyptian Pantheons . That would be quite a crowd and if you just invited them all then you would have even more trouble as you would have both good and evil sides together. chances are would would quickly lose control of the Deities.
If you have not done any research into invoking any deities.let me warn you this not a joke or just a game the energies are quite powerful and real.
I would be against this for the simple reason that you don;t seem to have the training or experience to do this with any type of safety.
Just calling up one is hard enough to do.
Find a Egyptian coven and ask them for help. You might even try the Masons as their religion traces there beginnings back to the pyramid builders and they might know of such groups in your area.

Invoke in descending order of importance to the ritual. For example, you want to honor Bast, but you want to also bring Isis, Hathor,Sehkmet, etc, into it, if Bast is the more important, She goes first, if Isis is the second most important to the ritual, She goes next, so on and so forth.

I'm gonna go with Bast first. Make sure the area is candlelit appropriately. Bast doesn't like it too dark. And as far as the other goddesses, as long as there is enough cake you should be fine.

I think you should invoke gods/godesses in the order in which to better facilitate the main emphasis of the invokation.
Why? Use the minor gods/goddesses to "power up" to the envokation of your main emphasis.
