No 'Christian' leads a double life. (Christian means Christ-like, if that adds to my point).
Of course, there are those who profess Christianity; I won't be surprised to find that some of those live double lives.

I guess it depends on what you mean by a double life. Pretty much everyone is different in public than in private. We put our "best foot forward" for others, but we often relax too much in the home. I think we all do things that we despise from time to time, and most of us don't do those things in public. The question really is, do we try to justify it, or do we allow ourselves to see the hypocracy, and humble ourselves enough to admit it, ask forgiveness, and try to overcome?

Can't begin to put a number to that, but I'll share a favorite saying of mine:
"Going to church doesn't make one a Christian any more than standing in a garage makes one a car."

its close to impossible to act in church as you do at home, people are on their best behavior in church not to be phony, but because there there to worship their God. I think most church-going people try to live by the golden rule but nobodys perfect.

You can beleive one thing, all Christians are sinners. But then, we are all sinners. Christians aren't fool proof. We don't ever, ever claim to be perfect. We aren't!
Christians are committed to serving God daily and obeying His commands. We cannot always display the ideal character in times of strain, stress and heavy traffic...but we try.
Our pastor mentioned how he, and all of us in attendance, are sinners today. Yes, we know we are!
So are you, but.......WE ARE ALL FORGIVEN, ALLELUIA!
See you next Sunday in church.

I consider christian pretending to be a normal part of christian life so in fact, they're not hypocrites they're just practicing a poor religion.
