i am 18, starting college. i just notice it seems like everyone is drinking, i thin kit is stupid personally, i have drank beofre and i hate it, i hate the feeling of being drunk, but it seems like to be popular and social you have to be around drinkers or drink yourself, its too bad, i wish there was a gril out there for me who didnt drink, it seems like ALOT of girls drink, and then they do stupid ****.

Before you start Bible-bashing, I am a Christian myself and read the Bible, so this is not an outsider vision of things.
Christians were murdered for having a different point of view, but now they pursue everyone who is different (LGTB, other religions, etc) I agree with proselyting, just not with mobbing.
What do you think?

What are some major differences between American and Canadian culture? I am thinking about working abroad in Canada, and I would like to know what differences do the Canadians have with Americans. Many people in the U. S. assume Americans and Canadians hardly have any differences. I am asking this because I am thinking about working abroad in Canada, and I'd like to be well-prepared for my stay.

can a relationship work if the people have two different beliefs? let me explain for a sec. im agnostic and my girlfriend is christian. the first day we started going out i told her i was agnostic and i respected her beliefs and asked her to respect mine. since then we have been having little arguments about god. i really do love her and i want to be with her, im actually thinking about asking her to marry me and i will even get married in a church because her and her family is christian. but can our relationship last? im just looking for some advice and i dont want any stupid advice so if you dont have anything smart to say then dont even leave an answer. thank you to everyone who responds.

Let's see Pat called for the removal of (3) members of the U.S. Supreme Court so they can be replaced by conservatives, didn't happen. (hey they prayed, why didn't that work?)
Next he said the widespread practice of homosexuality "will bring about terrorist bombs, it'll bring earthquakes, tornadoes and possibly a meteor.'' Hmmmm not happening
and he has twice attempted to divert hurricanes by prayer from Virginia Beach, Florida, where he has his headquarters. Both times the hurricanes slammed squarely into Virginia Beach
Coincidence?
I don't think so maybe something about Pat Robertson just rubs God the wrong way.
So what do you think is next for old Pat?

Likewise, I say to you, why would Jesus create angels and humans to worship and serve him? Why? He doesn't need praise. He's an omnipotent, self-sufficient power-house containing the infinite wisdom of the universe. So why would your majestic God have "simple little minded creatures that need silly games" to serve him? In fact, I dare say it's rather blasphemous and pretentious for you--a lowly, simple human--to even think that a God would want your love or service.

In some cases maybe? But isn't it more sexist to object to
someone refering to God as a HE or SHE? All that
GOD/GODDESS, HE/SHE stuff doesn't seem like respect to me. Seems more like an EGO TRIP!
