Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
As christians we will be persecuted.

For some people, being hateful is the only way they know how to argue. They are not capable of rational thought and it's easier to just say something nasty. This is true of both Christians and non-believers. We all have a bad day once in awhile.
If I'm having a day that is filled with Christians being ******* to me, both here and in real life, I'm more likely to make a nasty remark when provoked. I try very hard not to... I try to take the moral high ground. But sometimes, I fail.
I hope you run into nicer people!

Only if the questions you're asking about God are stupid. Then that means that you are probably a stupid individual. In that case, no matter what you ask a question about you will get hateful remarks. You also have to realize that, despite what some people may say, any answer you get about the nature of God is pure speculation. So I would either get used to the abuse or ask about something else...unless you're stupid. Then you should just stop asking questions.

No it isn't. I am not a religious person but i believe everyone is entitled to their beliefs providing they are not being prejudice towards others.
I do not hate anyone just because they have a different set of beliefs and i think intelligent respectful debate is a good thing for us all.
It is important though that when you are asking questions that you are not posting them in such a way that may be perceived to be hateful by people who don't agree with you.

Religion is a terrible curse on society, and God is just a fake creation by man. It's difficult for people not to feel angry when rubbish about God's goodness is continually pumped down their throats.
If you are a believer and follow the Bible, then you will know that God is the greatest mass murderer in history.
References: Genesis 6:11-17 and Genesis 7:11-24
Some examples:
GE 6:13 - And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
GE 6:17 - And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.
Seems to me that God (for you believers) is annoyed with humanity other than his buddy Noah, and decides to kill (murder) every living thing on the face of the earth, except of course Noah and his family - got to have a few friends left.
Pumping God into the minds of children, some of whom read Yahoo Answers is evil.

I think you just have to accept the fact the not everybody has had positive experiences with religion or God. Some of us are just tired of being inundated with Christiantiy.
I am not mad or against you being Christian. I just want to be left alone about not being Christian, which is hard to do in a country the has "In God We Trust" stamped on everything.

Why do you ask about god?
Do you think someone knows more about God?
maybe some people know about the Bible. or some "Holy Book" but about God says who?
Every one and all are able to conceive an idea or thouht or concept about God That is God for you. No body has a better concept.

Hmm It seems you have only asked two questions and they were not real questions one was a joke game that religious people do not find amusing and the second one was not even to religous people so I dont know who would of answered that and made you feel like they were hateful. Think of better and more thought provoking questions and then see what your returns will be like.

Ignore the ignorant. It's the only thing you can do - that and report the hateful, rude people that are doing nothing but trying to get reported for some unknown reason...
