One: I don't want to see you with him.
Two: I don't want to see you being with him.

For one, the bible states God is a loving god. Yet, so many believers practice hate. I follow God b/c he is good, not evil. I don't follow him b/c someone has taught me if I am not for christianity, I am against them (the only way to God). Concluding, I am against God. Therefore, I am scared to question anything a teacher of Christianity or a person of Christianity is telling me. Or, any other religion for that matter. Jesus stated the only way to God is through him, b/c there were a lot of people following the doctrines of a crucifying and false church at that time. His point was I am God's son; I teach from the heart of God not from the hand of man. Follow me and you shall learn the truth not the lies of the church. I don't want to lead anyone the wrong way. But, a lot of times I have witnessed a preacher misinterpret a phrase from the bible. For instance, the debate about technology. A lot of Christians are against technology, but utilize the latest products. There not in the woods hunting for their food and living in caves. Also, one preacher mistakenly stated a barcode was 666 in binary when it actually was 555. Another time was about tiding. The bible phrase was saying about giving to people less fortunate than oneself. However, the preacher only referenced the part about giving. She added, giving to the church. I know in my heart a being of greater good exists and it triumphs over evil. If I don't believe this, then killing children and so forth aren't wrong. Anti-christ will proclaim to be of God, but it is the way he treats people that will give him away. By proclaiming to be God, he can win souls that will perform evil acts on his behalf. Just b/c you proclaim his name and memorize scriptures doesn't mean deep in your heart you love god. You are trying to be saved from suffering. I'm not criticizing any one. I want people to learn the true essence of God, which I have not fully learned. I'm seeking his will by praying for some light in the darkness. I realize some of my beliefs may be wrong. That's why I'm still here on earth. I'm learning. I'm seeking. How are you seeking God if you already know everything? Also, God gave us a brain for a reason so we won't be fooled by the devil. If I want something from you will I show up as the wolf. No, I will show up in sheeps clothing.

I have yet to be refuted. You now have another chance. Again, to point out the common fallacies, I Timothy 2 and Isaiah 46 are explicitly clear that God wants all mankind to be saved, and that everything God wants will happen. All your illusions of choice and free will are completely irrelevant. Attempting to appeal to those only serves to contradict the fact that everything that God wants is exactly what God will have happen (namely, the salvation of all mankind).

I've noticed that a lot of people are kinda judgemental... and it would be most appreciated if you stopped because some of these answers are kinda ridiculous and dont pertain to the question at all... so my question is why do people think they have the right to judge others? ( also I am not christian or anything like that just want to know I happen to be a wiccan...) aslo sorry if this once again offends you or your faith in any way...

If you beleive in life after death as so commonly depicted today --
Examples: light, peace, someone there to meet you...all the descriptions that are commonly given.--

HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN THE ABSENCE OF THIS DESCRIPTION IN THE BIBLE?

In the Bible there are numerous experiences told about people that were brought back to life and they didn't talk about any of this.
This seems to be a fairly recent phenomenen. Could this be one of Satan's ploys to mess us up?

Serious answers only, please.

One day was the strangest for me: I never read paper horoscopes, but one day, on the way up north during winter, I told my boyfriend what it said and I laughed:
Tell someone close to you to be very caustious today, there may be trouble.
So, I told him. He rolled his eyes. I told him we should take the truck, not the car, and he eventually agreed.
When we got to the long road to the cottage at night, the lights on the truck kept flickering, and as we rounded the corner, I grabbed his hand and tried to tell him to stop, but I couldn't speak because I knew there was something really wrong. Before I could say a thing, he said oh, sh#*, and rammed the truck over the fallen tree. If we had taken the other car, we could've been in a lot more trouble; the truck saved us from the brunt of impact, and we were unharmed.

Who decides that some people will live a wondeful life and be rich and happy, and that others must be born into poverty, famine, pain, suffering, etc.? I just don't understand. Religous people always say that this life is temporary compared to the after-life, I guess that is some relief for those who suffer during their mortal life but, even still does that mean that some people get to live in heaven twice while some only get to do it once? I was just thinking of all these things... What do you think?

Did anyone catch the special on TLC about Camp 9/11? I am in the middle of a DVR viewing of the show and already I want to get involved with this project.

I work with troubled teens in a therapeutic wilderness camp setting in Texas. I deal with kids and their emotional issues all the time. I would be honored to volunteer at one of the camps and I'm sure I'm not the only one, lots of people on my staff would volunteer their time to counsel camp there.

Trouble is, I am having trouble finding out how to get in touch with the people who run the camps. Does anyone know where to start?
