I've noticed that a lot of people are kinda judgemental... and it would be most appreciated if you stopped because some of these answers are kinda ridiculous and dont pertain to the question at all... so my question is why do people think they have the right to judge others? ( also I am not christian or anything like that just want to know I happen to be a wiccan...) aslo sorry if this once again offends you or your faith in any way...

you being Wicca don't offend me it has no reason to your choice if your wrong on that choice I'm not the one who has to pay for it later ( don't agree with it but hey I'm human and not expected to agree with everyone). as far as the judgmental issue yup ALL people do it I've even been known to do it from time to time depending on my mood. why WE judge people is a question that you can't expect a generic response because everyone has there own reason. Some because they don't agree, some because they want to start problem and the list goes on and on. either way It's fueled by passion remove the passion from anything and you get jello basically, passion wither it be for a belief in faith or just being passionate about getting on someones nerves is the cause of the problem........

It's not being judgemental dude!

It's called having an opinion, and everybody has a right to eachothers opinion. If you want to shove socks in the right people's mouths so you don't hear their opinion, than what good is that to life?

What if their opinion is the truth? That is how theists see the world, as their truth, and as others not seeing the truth, and the only way to spread the truth as through word of mouth.

They know they can't force you to believe something that you don't want to believe, but they hope that you may "open your eyes" some day, so you can share how they feel.

They feel so great that they spread this belief unto you and myself.

Know what is great? As long as you pretend to believe and say what you think they want to hear you can be popular. You can ask them to describe it in a way that more easily understood, and BAM, you have a non judgemental spin on life.

It's not as simple minded as you think it is. There is much psychology in their reasons. Their reasons are opinions. Opinions are the workings of your imagination. Your imagination has no limits.

The only time you ever have trouble is when the majority of the earths imagination is opposite of your own. WHen you don't agree with your imagination, and you shut down your senses to block out the negative imagination around you....

Best of luck in your search of somebody who shares your imagination and breaks you out of your impenetrable shell of thought blocking imagination waves. :p

I prefer to call it a ***** shield... but that takes a completely different view of people and life in general. Something I cannot describe, it is a hive mind factor of thinking. Somewhere along the lines of popularity, conciously called extroversion, or expulsive.

Want to know why these people are judgemental for real?

They want you to believe. They want to share their beliefs. Their beliefs are set in the imagination, and they seek others to augment their imagination. They are living a truly cultural life. They are using evolution to their advantage...

As well, they respond to "lies" or errors in judgement in the same way. They express their beliefs, and await further information that conforms with their current stream of thought. Something you and I might call not being a buzz kill.

It's not a question of a "right" to judge others.

For human beings, passing judgment, including on other people, is an inevitability. More than that, it's a useful tool. It's part of what we are; it's part of how we operate. The proper quest is not to eradicate judgment, but to seek to make our judgments as balanced, nuanced, and adjustable as we can. And yeah, mix a little compassion in there while you're at it. Everybody has their demons.

I agree with you. I'm a christian, and people expect me to judge people, just because I'm a christian! I'm not judgemental, I'm a human being. And i wish people would stop calling Christians robotic hypocrites. It gets old, and kind of hurtful I must admit. When it comes down to it, everyone wants to be excepted for who they are and what they believe. Don't worry, I won't judge you...

Other than the fact that your asking leading questions? The Bible does say that we should not judge others for we may be judged in the same way, but everyboy is judged constantly by even other animals, so what do you have against the world that should put you above it all?

Every thing is judged in one form way or another. You are judged all the time by life. How you act towards those judgments you can only decide. So You yourself are judging too. Just by asking this question you are judging others. So there you are.

It’s not offensive to ask such a question. We are all judgment weather of Christian beliefs of other beliefs. I am a Christian. I don't like being judgmental or to judge. For only god and Jesus can be that judge. My husband was a Wiccan. Before being a wiccan (lasting 8 years) he was a church preacher for 6years.went to Bible College as well. He was and always will be also a theologian (one who studies religious theology, yes that includes wiccan, Hindu and such) I used to call him a Indian Baptist, because to me wiccan was like American Indian beliefs i grew up knowing (which as allot like wiccan such as take from the land you must give back, yes there are spirits in things, (but they are not good one.) but god called him back. he didn't ask for god to speak to him. god just did on his own. so you see while others may have judged my husband as a bad man for being Wicca. he was still loved , not only by people who didn't like his choices and judged him, for in judgment there is still the power of love, for they loved him for who he was no matter his path, but god loved him as well. My husband is now a messianic Pentecostal. Which is one who is a follower Jewish belief, but also believes that Jesus is the messiah and also speaks in tongue. One thing I wish for all that all the good in the different religious be shared instead of focusing on all the bad, for to be honest there are some wiccan beliefs that are good, such as respecting the land, not destroying it. But saying all things have a living essence is not that case. For I knew a spirit that my husband knew that didn’t like me and used to hit me with walnut when I would go out to hang laundry. He still can see those spirits, but they don’t go near him because they know that Christ is with him and they fear Christ. They have told him so. (not my words, but his)

Basically what i am saying judgment comes in many fashions. by many people, for many things. We focus too much on hurting and think we are helping. We focus the bad in a person or situation instead of the good. Judge unless you wish to be judged may be a scriptural term, but in life it can be an everyday term as well. We only condemn (judge it ) because it came from the bible first and not by someone of today.

It's human nature to judge other people. But some people take it too far because they always want to be right. They can't stand the thought of being wrong.
