yes, but it's not only whites. It's a life style of blunts, sex, rap hipphopp that's corrupted society today. If there's a rapp or hoiphop with a good message in it about acting normal, working 40 hours per week, having a good relationship, good family values, and enjoying the hard work paying off, I'd like someone to point it out to me. Why can't people just wear bluejeans, tee shirts, and go have a picnic, instead of rebeliing against normal American or humanitarian values?

How do you act Black?
What do they do?
Do they articulate well?
Do they sing Bing Crosby?
Do they wear pants up and not down below their AZZ?
I am really Curious...
do black ever try to act white?

Do Black try to act white?

White trash is an American ethnic slur with a social class component. It is comparable to "honky" in that it is targeted toward white people, but also carries an allegation of low social status and poor prospects (downward mobility). To call someone "white trash" is to accuse that person of being bankrupt of cultural endowment. "White trash" is not a demographic group recognized by sociology, and the phrase is seen to some as possibly being doubly offensive, in that it implies that whites should not allow themselves to sink a level usually associated with other racial groups.

Attitudes toward the phrase have softened somewhat in recent years, to the degree that some people describe themselves as "white trash", and there is a genre of rock music known proudly as "white-trash rock", but the phrase is still never found in polite contexts. "White trash" is usually associated with poverty, though sheer eccentricity can play a role.

The origins of the term may come from a racially segregated past, but modern usage of the term places emphasis on the word "trash" or the labeling of someone as socially worthless.

I think that there's not a good answer to that. I'm not really sure what acting black means to you. Personally, I think anyone who tries to be who they aren't is acting pretty foolish. I have a big problem with the idea of black and white culture concepts. I just don't think that there's enough of a line to really be able to cross it. That's just the way I see the world I guess.

Yeah, there are some accepts AKA people who actually grew up in that enviroment. I go to a private catholic school, and I find it hilarous when I see white kids walking around acting like that, in a way it makes me mad, but in a way I think it's funny. Usually I will just think "You pay 6,000 dollars a year for an education??"

It looks stupid when anyone is trying to be someone else, period.
It only shows a look of lack of self esteem to try to be something you're not. I'm embarrassed that white people do that, because I'm sure the black people are laughing behind their backs.
I used to hang out in black neighbourhoods and I never spoke like them, and they didn't speak like me, but we wuz cool wit...oops, sorry...we were alright with each other.

Most definitely! I wish people would just be themselves rather than trying to imitate others. It has nothing to do with race.

I understand that kids and teens have to try on different personas until they find what theirs is, but I wish they could see how ridiculous they look. I did it and when I think back to how silly I looked, I cringe. LOL!

The problem is, what you are considering "black" is something that a group of people made up. A way of acting that is totally out of the norm for anyone. So, white people acting like that is just as stupid as the black people acting like that. It's all just a way of sensationalizing something so they stick out. Just be "human" for crying out loud.

well if u don't want to offend anyone, since u say ur not a racist, just exactly what is acting black?
because black people can be cultured and educated and speak properly, just like whites do.
and black people can be ignorant and un-educated and speak improperly, just like whites do.
so again, just what is acting black????
