Christians get back to following the Bible when the Holy Spirit puts a hunger in their heart and they go back.....one by one, i suppose. Why don't you start, and I'll follow, and one by one they'll undoubtedly follow suit. These things always start with the one who notices and takes action, right?

Well, following the Bible is a bit like following ripples in the water, is it not? The Bible is really just a fake story, perhaps a bit like the Loch Ness monster tales.
When we pass on information to another (example: story, joke, description of something etc) by the time these details are passed on by word of mouth, interpreted by others, and then written down, the final details are typically quite different than the original information.
Since the Bible is just a man-made story passed down over many years in various forms, the chance of it being accurate in any shape or form is remote.
There are people who swear blind that the Loch Ness monster exists regardless of all the evidence to the contrary, but a fence post bobbing up and down in the Loch does the trick. Similarly there are people who swear blind that God exists and the Bible is fact, yet there isn’t one blind bit of evidence to support such theories.
Biblical tales are really no different than Loch Ness monster tales, just the era is different.

When hell freezes over. The problem is that your idea of following the bible is not the same as every other persons idea of following the bible. So if your question is when will everybody follow the bible according to my interpretation of the bible then the answer is most probably never. The Catholics and Protestants when they are not hating each other cannot agree. And the Orthodox Church agrees with neither of them and there are countless other sects who hate and disagree with all the other sects. Talk about love thy neighbour.

You (Jews, Christians, Muslims) should read the Holy Scriptures revealed by Christ at this second advent in order that you can understand the Bible, the Torah and the Quran.
