First of all, Vandemataram is not the National Anthem of India. Why some of the extremist groups in India doesn't give importance to National Anthem 'Jana Gana Mana...'? They are more obsessed with some other songs like 'Vandemataram'. One can be a true Indian without singing 'Vandemataram'.

According to Islamic belief, only GOD is eligible for worshipping. One should not worship human beings or motherland. Motherland should be respected but not worshipped. So some verses in the song 'Vandemataram' worships motherland. That is the reason why some of the verses in the song are not sung by muslims.

I would like to draw your attention to the famous album 'Vandemataram' by A.R.Rahman. He is a devout muslim and has included that word in his album.

Also I'd like to remind you of sacrifice made by muslims for the independence of our beloved nation.

So please come out of fascist RSS mindset. Let all of us, Indians, unite in all respects and make India a superpower.

Sort of like theJehovah's witnesses in the rest ofthe world not singing the national anthem or saying prayers in class with the rest of the kids. I guess Islam has just elevated themselves to cult status.

I wooden know about the fare, I'd worry more about production costs, stage manager and the expected net take from the event.

And what about media coverage, too. That's key.
