Many people say it is religion, Satan, power, education, government, human sprit, etc. I already have my own view what the source of evil comes from, but I'm interested in what most of you out there think. Where do you think evil comes from or do you believe that evil is just a concept?

Alright here it is....I got introduced to this girl about 4 to 5 days back on the pretext of frndship and she made it clear that she was not interested in a love relantionship(she was confused herself). The next two days she was very frndly and waved and smiled whenever our eyes met, tapped on my shoulders said hi and walked away smiling.We talked very less though but she used to hang around near me. But lately I have noticed her bahaving a bit differently. Her frnds seem to push her around when she is near me and she also has become a bit shy. She nowadays avoids eye contact and whenever i say hi she says hi, waves without raising her hand and then immediately looks down. Ok I am done. Now let me know wat you think!! Why has she changed all of a sudden?? I am really bad at reading signs.....pls help!!

I am a lesbian. I don't really go to church anymore. I believe that everyone has a right to their own oppinions ... but i am tired of people using the bible as an excuse to be against homosexuality... i don't set around and complian all day about str8 cuples holding hands or kissing in public so why is is okay for them to judge me...? why should it even matter... if someone is happy then let it be... telling people they cannot marrie... come on now... str8 cuples would have a fit if they where told they couldn't marrie... so basically my question is... how many people out there are really against homosexuality... and don't use the butt sex is wrong bit... b/c i don't have but sex and i am gay... is it still wrong... and not every gay man has butt sex either... that still don't change the fact that i love my girlfriend...

I was at a 5 day rave with tons of naked hippies partying on the beach. Ive grown up with nudity, so I felt fine joining in, my boyfriend is much shyer, he had trunks on. I think he was upset at the other guys looking at me, but also I feel it is my choice and it is just being with nature. He is the only one for me and he knows i would never do anything to hurt him.

or

I think we all know which statement is used the most on this site by those who deem to class themselves as followers of Jesus, don't we?

(a hint; it's not the former)

It seems many prefer their own beliefs rather than those taught by the religion they choose to 'follow'...
Why does the Christian authorities seem to refrain from teaching the dangers of the Ego, resulting in the latter statement becoming truer than the former?

I met him as a child, through neighbors that invited me to church with them. I gave up any thought of God when I was 13 or so. I thought any God that would give me a life with an abusive alcoholic father certainly didn't care for me. I left home at 16, I lived in the back seat of a 1970 Nova for 2 years. I put myself through school and got my first apartment. I met a neighbor who was a Christian and smoked pot...really He asked me if I believed in God and I was very happy to give him my laundry list of my all my reason I didn't..see then I was vastly more intelligent..LOL! Something in me wanted to fight him...he told me to ask God for answers and to reveil himself to me. 1 Year later I remembered what he said and I did just that. NOT on my time but God showed up about 3 weeks later..lot's of very weird things started to happen...and then he spoke to me..I'm 10000% sure it was him. That was 37 years ago...I've never looked back.

I just went to a bridal shower last week. I bought a gift to the bride as a bridal shower gift, however, everyone else has brought the wedding gift instead. I plan to buy something from her registry for her as a wedding gift, and I'm not sure if I still need to give her some money when I go to the wedding just to cover for the food?

First you want to know how I killed him right? It was easy-I read a book that explained to me why Man Created God-ALL men of all backgrounds, races & ethninticities have had THEIR Gods. This to explain the unknown-And many have been forced to believe in another mans God-worship or die! My LOVE for my fellow human being drove me to conclude that I Love Diversity-Honor-&-Respect in men that would want to share this time in this world with me. We All want to be loved (just ask any baby) and yet we created an entity of compassion for we love ourselves as well. We also HATE certain aspects of each other and will immediately pronounce those differences upon an entity of EVIL called Satan. Sadly this catched the blame for misunderstanding-God's are Created in every form and almost always have an enemy-WHY WOULD ANY God create an enemy? Man Creates enemies and this is reflected in his God. Yes Christian-Muslim-Jew-you all have enimies because U have accepted YOUR GOD-How Happy U All seem 2 B!

Did anyone see "Superman Returns"?

What's up with "The Son becomes the Father and the Father becomes the Son"?

Is Jor-El God and is Kal-El (Superman) the Son of God?

Superman does get stabbed in the side, and there's that nice crucifix pose when he is dying.

And was Superman resurrected? It seems that he died and then was brought back to life, either by his own will or by the kiss of his son, Jason Lane.

Or maybe Superman is God, Jor-El is the Holy Spirit, and Jason Lane is actually the Son of God?

And if Jason Lane is the Son of God, does that mean that Lois Lane is a virgin?

And why did Lois deny the importance of Superman, if indeed he was here to save the world?

My only option is total abstinence. If I drink one beer, I will drink twenty. If I eat one slice of pizza, I will eat every slice of pizza. I want a beer so bad but know if I have one I will start drinking heavily again. Hwo do I learn self control?
