To me, when you are about 53 you should stop. It is a little freaky being a senior citizen still dating. So I'm a go with 53.

If you want to date and meet people you can do it at any age. There are no restrictions. There are many ways to express affection if/when it gets to that.

I think you can date at whatever age you are. The only issue would be if you are dead, other than that...date!...if you want. ;)
