Has anyone else noticed how the older generation complain that "todays youth" have no manners, when in actual fact, it's the other way round?! More often than not, when i stand back to let someone through, the older ones, i'd say 55+, have NO manners whatsoever!! I get soo frustrated with the lack of courtesy that i just have to shout (very sarcastically) WHY THANKYOU!!!! OH,NO PROBLEM!!!!! One time, i was in ASDA and this old women just rammed her damn trolley at me, gave me a mucky look and carried on walking! I was tempted to start crying and shout about "that nasty old women" who just wheeled me down!!! In fairness, you do get some, nice older people who have manners and courtesy, but then you get the ones who cross the road just to avoid, and give very dirty looks at that supposed yob that is me! Just because I'm a teenager doesn't mean I'm going to mug them or something! Does anyone else feel this way?! I'm pretty sure it isn't just me!

We are in control of and responsible for our own actions.
Does not having a religion bother me no.
I believe in my self....... I have faith in my self
I believe in my family and friends .......i have faith in my family and friends.
I believe and have faith in human nature and instinct.....
... In a fire, bomb blast, earth quake when you see the people scramble to help each other they don't stop to ask what religion they are they help them because they are human brothers and sisters.
In my opinion religion prevents integration and promotes separation.
I am happy to be able to look at the person as a human being not as a follower of what ever religion therefore stereo typing them.
I will live my life ..........love my life.........control my life .....and be resonsible for it ..if i do wrong i will pay...... only the person i have wronged can forgive me ...... If they wont i will have to live with it.
Who agrees ???

For Instance, the section "Religion and Spirituality" on this site has more back stabbing, hating, prejudice and provocative content on it than any other section...
As another example, the only state in the US that has successfully outlawed gay marriage is the state with the highest divorce rate per capita.
As a final example, it seems like every town that has more than a few churches in it, will lose alot of business from other sources and become kind of depressed financially... which came first - the poverty or the excessive religion??? Is it a vicious cycle?
I am really not trying to offend religious people (I'm Buddhist myself and I respect others beliefs) - it's just the way it seems to me.
What's your opinion?
