I do believe in reincarnation. Why do we exist on Earth, to learn certain life lessons...to become as close to God as possible so that we might assend into Heaven. Each lifetime can bring us closer or, if we choose to not learn our lessons, to put us back so that we can get on track and learn the lesson again - that is why we are reborn, in my opinion. It is similar to karma...I do not believe there is a Hell persay, only life repeating itself on Earth lifetime after lifetime until the lesson is learned, then and only then can we move on.

Reincarnation is very Nicely Explained in Bhagavad Gita..
We are not these Bodies but we are Spirit Souls...
The Body is perishable but Soul is not ...
Soul is always changing body as from Childhood to Boyhood to youth to Old body and then after death it takes up another Body just as it did this time...
The Next Body that we get may not be the same as present body. It may be any living entity. This is decided by our Activity in this life as well as in the past lives...
The Next Body may not every be on this Planet but may be in any other planetary systems as Heaven or Hells ... It again Depends on our activity...
Please read Bhagavad Gita As It Is for a very detail Explanation of Soul and reincarnation ...
You can also read this book which specifically deals with Reincarnation ....

Who is to say that the only place you get reincarnated on is here? Since we are unable to remember all of our past lives, it may be possible that we have been to other places as well. Who knows, not I, but I do believe in reincarnation.

I *know* reincarnation is real.
One of the biggest attractions of Christianity and organized religion in general is its unconscious familiarity to persons who were acquainted with it in past lives. Religion in particular has a strong attraction to the reincarnated individual because religion embodies the concept of the eternal soul and the afterlife. Christianity especially appeals to persons who have a vague and muddled sense of having lived before -- this is why they seem to feel a mysteriously "this is so right" bond with Jesus Christ, why they feel in some inexplicable way (to themselves) that they feel his "presence." And it's not just memories of the church in past lives they're sensing; it's also the deep empathy they feel with the concepts of dying and being resurrected (as represented by Jesus and the Christian faith), down deep in their soul.
Even that "die once" bible verse is a misinterpretation:
