I met him as a child, through neighbors that invited me to church with them. I gave up any thought of God when I was 13 or so. I thought any God that would give me a life with an abusive alcoholic father certainly didn't care for me. I left home at 16, I lived in the back seat of a 1970 Nova for 2 years. I put myself through school and got my first apartment. I met a neighbor who was a Christian and smoked pot...really He asked me if I believed in God and I was very happy to give him my laundry list of my all my reason I didn't..see then I was vastly more intelligent..LOL! Something in me wanted to fight him...he told me to ask God for answers and to reveil himself to me. 1 Year later I remembered what he said and I did just that. NOT on my time but God showed up about 3 weeks later..lot's of very weird things started to happen...and then he spoke to me..I'm 10000% sure it was him. That was 37 years ago...I've never looked back.

what do you think!

If truly you have once believed; then you are a child of God, but you are lamed.Your relationship with God is broken but you have not ceased from being His child. You need to put things with God in order. You are already old enough to continue aguing the word of God.

Your story is very interesting & inspiring!
Your past is the past .. Your future is the Lords!
Glad to know that you know the Lord!!! & trust in Jesus for your forgiveness of sins!
I would love to hear more of your story.... See if you can add more details or something that would be cool!
God Bless You!

I think you stole some of your neighbors pot and smoked it.
That would explain why you are hearing voices. Or your neighbor was talking, and you fell for it. Maybe both.

You must have lived this like I did:

Isaiah 29:24: "They also that erred in spirit shall come to understanding, and they that murmured shall learn doctrine."

I think you are easily duped and you've had a rough life which tends to make people more susceptible to belief in things like this.

I'm glad He showed up for you. Your friend had wisdom if not intelligence, smoking pot.

If you think god talked to you, you may need to check in somewhere. My husband's uncle heard jesus talk to him over the loudspeaker. He was schizophrenic...
