The Christian Bible states that God spoke to Noah as well as Moses.

It also says that no man could hear the voice of God.

So if merely hearing the voice of God would kill someone or no man is able to hear the actual voice of God, then how did God speak to Moses and Noah?

I'm reposting this because some idiot reported it on the grounds of being chatting/correspondence. Clearly this is not the case and I send customer care a nasty letter asking if they even bother reading the reports they get to see if they fit what they're reported for.

I don't mind getting reported, but I feel bad because there were around 30 answers on this question and some of them were really amusing and good.

Therefore, I'm rebelling against the system and reposting so that everyone can have the chance to make their voice heard for good.

I have never met any Europeans, like ESL students...never ever ever. I know it's in part , because they just go to school ..but i also have a feeling, they don't really think we're american . I wonder what they think of me everytime, because i do see them in Buses, etc. so they see me, but i've never talked to them .

People have so many different opinions about so many things. And as a consequence people are OFFENSIVE about so many things.

Why should insulting religion or God be singled out for special treatment as blasphemy?

And please don't answer with "People shouldn't be offensive about anything". This is the real world, and people WILL be offensive, and you cannot always predict what some people will FIND offensive. I want to know why blasphemy should receive special treatment in the annals of potentially obnoxious behaviour.

Do Muslim people planned to change UK to a moslim country?

Lots of the moslim groups in Europe have register themselves as a charity to get money from the European governments and other charity sources.
It is very shocking when you are told Lots of those mosque which are teaching medieval rules and spread hatred among young moslims are getting money from government!?

Do you think government should stop giving money to religious groups?

I'm an agnostic not trying to convert anyone just seeking answers.
It has been suggested that empirical evidence for believing in the Judeo-Christian God exists in the Bible. That God spoke to Noah and Moses.

But, how can we really be sure God talked to Moses and Noah? How do we know this, since Moses wrote Genesis, that Noah and God really talked? How do we know Moses really talked to God, and didn't just come up with a religion and laws to control people?

If you believe that God spoke to Moses but not to any of the other people who started a religion, would you apply the same skepticism to those who believe in that religion today and ask the same question, how do you know that Muhammad really talked to Gabriel for example and didn't just start his own religion?

Is there any real empirical evidence of Muhammad talking to Gabriel, or of Moses talking to God? Many religions say that God talked to someone a long time ago. What makes Christianity different?

My mum stayed off work and brought me and my sis up unitil we were old enough to go to school, alot like most people in my age bracket (30)
More kids these days are prone to violence drugs teenage pregnancy being abusive to their parents etc. (thats just fact, things are getting worse)
My mum made sacrifices so our lives had balance and love.
Aot of people put there kids in daycare (often alot of money) and claim they have to pay the essential bills but drive around in really flash cars and expensive clothes, thats fine but are these things more important than having happy children? and are these parents who spend 2 hours a day with there kids causing a negative effect on our society

Is good and evil an absolute that has and always will be the same for all creatures (man, animal, plant)? If not, what is the source of the determination?

Surely people understand that terrorists are a minority group, and that their views do not represent that of the majority of Muslims? Can't people see that thay are making innocent Muslims lives hell by generalising them all as terrorists, and that much of the hatred in the world today is due to our own ignorance and reluctance to listen to other people views?

a pedophile, not a priest, but a regular old sick *** pedophile goes into confession and confesses his sin of raping boys and girls and the priest absolves him, and tells him to turn himself in to the authorties. the pedophile doesn;t do this, and he will be held accountable in the eyes of god and go to hell. Ok I get that. But what about the boys and girls that have been raped and will probably be raped by this man who has decided that he will just go to confession. Some of you feel that as long as he will be held accountable for his actions when he dies that that is enough. My question is, is it enough for those boys and girls that are being violated and scarred for life, what about the ones who have already been violated and the ones who are yet to be violated? Doesn;t the priest have some sort of responsibilty to report such crimes, and if not, why? I think it makes the priest who is receiving the pedophiles confession just as guilty and sinful.
