Sometimes I get a poor me attitude and I get angry about things that have transpired in my life.

How can I be more thankful, greatful and appreciate life and "get over" myself that I am NOT the only one who has ever been hurt, and disappointed in life?

I want to be a blessing not a hindrance to others.

Not that there's anything wrong with that, except for the slang, dialect that is hard to understand, and the complete misuse of the English language?

It seems to me like the majority of athists are men, which sucks for us. Religious differences in relationships can be a major problem down the road, but it seems hard to find any single atheist ladies. Anyone have any thoughts on why this might or might not be?

While I'm on the subject, any freshmen, sophomores, or juniors going to Virginia Tech fit that description? Hit me up lol

Yesterday I was very upset and I took my anger out on someone I love dearly I have repented and said I was sorry but you cannot take back harsh words once said.

What are godly creative ways to deal with anger, stress, and anxiety without being mean and nasty to other people?

I want to be a good witness not a bad one.

Should we not just judge him as an actor? His behavior though not condonible seems to be related to the drinking, that may be related to personal unresolved issues and wrapped up in guilt? The pressures have to be enormous,I have seen that pattern way too often to mistake . I am completely against what he said about the Jewish people, in his heart he knows this is not love. He carries conflicts from childhood to haunt him as he hits middle age. Who knows this predicament maybe what he needs to see if he will sink if swim. I think he'll swim, he is a smart man he just needs to ask for forgiveness, forgive himself and get on with it. We can help by not going for the throat when people are down.
Love is the only thing strong enough to win against addiction and remorse. Love you Mel Gibson

Just being curious I saw 30 days on FX last night. The show was about an atheist woman living with a christian family. I am neither christian or atheist but I am curious if atheists have any believe in an afterlife. I understand they do not believe in a higher being.

it does not matter if you don't believe or not...Every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord!! Once you see him part through the clouds, face to face, you will despise how you spent your life, and blame your own ignorance!

I really don't understand, and that's why I'm upset. The person who says it the most that really bothers me is my younger sister (she's 11 years old). I know I shouldn't take it to heart since she's my sister and is almost meant to say mean things, but it really hurts. Then everyone else tries telling me that I'm some kind of genius when I'm obviously not. I'm average, I'm not retarded, and I’m not a genius. I guess I just want a little respect. It even feels disrespectful when people say I'm so smart because it's lying. How can I convince my younger sister to stop using that word to describe me? I'm afraid she won’t take me seriously. There are other people who like to call me retarded, but my sister saying it hurts a lot more.

All kinds of European or Asian ESL students go to English schools where you pay..... or schools with special programs like "Business" while also learning english. I went there several times, to help in conversation and never did i see any latins..or if i did it was almost nothing compared to Chinese, Korean, Japanese..or Europeans. Is it true to say that people from this countries are by large richer than Latin people?

Some of the questions asked by so-called Christians, and their answers are so antagonistic, that they are meant to create polarization and hate. It's truly embarrassing, and I'm sure it is meant to be.

Christ was inclusive and non-judgemental of sinners and non-believers. He converted them not by rhetoric and guilt, but by action, acceptance and character.

Here is my challenge, if you are a Christian, act it. Do not be like the Pharisees and Sanhedrin that Christ despised. Do not judge. Just state your own beliefs and the impact in your life. Do not pray for others unless they approve, it is false pride when you do.

Take the high road and not the low road. That's all.

Does anyone else feel this way?
